This is worth watching. Johnson’s main sponsor was asked to comment on it during an interview on the Jeremy Vine show. The arrogance with which he dismissed the comments was unbelievable. Almost a case of, the public don’t matter, it’s non of their business!

As far as I know, there is nothing untrue in this clip. And we must not forget that Johnson recently lied about having voted in the local council elections. The man is full of contempt for the public, and is completely empty in terms of ability. He will shat on all you Brexit supporters and is successfully taking you for fools.

I, m glad to hear that Woosh. Will be nice to come home to a setlled, well organised, fairly governed, prosperous country. Looking forward to coming home now.
Just clarify for me though Woosh, which withdrawal agreement. I must have missed that.
the one May signed.
If JC sits in No 10, there is no reason not to ratify.
The new government has until end of 2020 to decide how close to the EU we'll stay or even rejoin.

He wont let me down, dont really mind either way. Its you thats upset, about everything and everybody.
Just had a great 10 days on IoM...frightening..but fantastic.
Still think May was your best option. What have you got now? No deal, BJ or Gove. Remainers have got nothing, even after all their moaning, insulting, shouting, petitions and posting. Corbyn deserted you all, left you unrepresented apart from Vince.. Had you been serious about not leaving you should have got behind May, the remainer. But dogma stopped you. Now what have you got. Boris.. Ah ah. You deserve him.
Hang on a minute we remainers didn't create this situation YOU DID when you gambled by voting for Brexit along with all the other mugs.

Talk about being utterly irresponsible! and now after creating this colossal balls up
You have the sheer brass to dismiss your responsibility with
"He wont let me down, dont really mind either way. "?

I would remind you that so far
Leavers have got nothing, even after all their moaning, insulting, shouting, petitions and posting.

Nobody has benefited from the mistake of voting for Brexit, you simply created a disaster, and now you don't mind either way?

And you have no reason to assume things will improve after Brexit, have you?

Are you as they say "feeling lucky"? or planning on emigrating perhaps?

You're taking such a gloomy view Flecc! Cheer up! He could be just the tonic this country needs!

(James ducking for cover and leaving stage left).

Look - he's a natural optimist - which is why he sometimes makes such an ass of himself. Optimists are a PR man's nightmare.

But yes.

I know.

Your reservations go much deeper.

But - you don't have a vote - and I do! Ha!
Hes a natural unscrupulous opportunist. If you fall for the cheery facade youre in for some 24 carat disilusionment

listened to Boris's pitch for leader and thought it was good. However he is obviously deranged. He was talking in a positive way about this country and it's prospects. He surely can't be allowed to think that we have any good points and may succeed. Maybe he should come on here and get a good dose of negativity and gloom. That would sort him out
Yeah. Great huh? Love that optimism. So do a lot of other people too.

I cant see any other option. What can BJ or anyone offer May didnt? The problem was getting our agreement through parliament not past EU. Nothing has changed. BJ will bluster and threaten, and leave with no deal. Its becoming inevitable. May's deal was the only compromise and WE chucked that out.
Like I said earlier, I could understand leavers not supporting May's deal. It was EU biased and not leaving. Remainers not supporting it was contradictory.
I very very very much doubt we will leave with no deal if its up to Boris. He will somehow find a way to pull some kind of Brexit-looking rabbit out of the hat. Enough to satisfy enough people.

No red lines. Johnson will happily slip into compatibility with the EU on our departure, as I said, appearing to be a hard exit No Deal but with the agreement of the EU that free trade will continue until a new trade deal is established. That gets him past October 31st, making his Brexiters and the EU happy for the moment.

Boris is all about expediency, May was all about stubbornness.

I dont think anyone is putting BJ as being well thought of. He, s a product of time and it says something about state of our politics when he, s even in contention. But lets not forget he, s only even a possibility because Cameron resigned, after initiating this fiasco, and May was hounded out with no thoughts at all about her replacement. You were one of her greatest critics, yet before her replacement is even found folk are starting the same process. You cant get rid of a person in a certain roll without bearing in mind a replacement. Seems our way is to sack manager, all his players and then run out on street looking for replacements.
Exactly who do you critics want in no10?

Now finally the day has come (it's been on the cards for a while) when cricket clubs & leagues up and down the land via ECB will became fully fledged agents of the Home Office immigration dept. doing their bureaucratic & police work in gathering information about players.

"Player Registration

We have updated our Player Registration section within Play-Cricket (ECB player & scorecard website database for league games) to comply with Home Office requirements. A player or club will be required to complete some additional mandatory fields on Player Registration, including a place of birth.

Additional fields maybe also be requested upon entering a place of birth; the user will be prompted to complete the required fields. All information will be securely stored within Play-Cricket, meeting GDPR regulations and protecting the Leagues and clubs from holding data locally. The new requirements will assist Leagues with their player categorisation of players."

We've seen no sign of any skill or ability as a magician for three years from BJ to pull any brexit rabbits from a hat (apart from disappearing acts) more a blundering buffoon of a clown - Poorman's P. G. Wodehouse calamity version of Trump for Britain.

Putting it in words Remainers will find understandable... Us banning no deal is like Turkeys banning christmas..
We can not unilaterally ban any outcome. We could ban any deal we dont like. US banning no deal has been futile all along apart from destroying our bargaining position.
Absolutely correct.. the only actions within the UK's control, is No Deal or Repeal Article 50

if we crash out, parliament will force a new GE and a new government will be likely to be much more moderate and negotiate on the basis of May's deal.
Much as I would prefer this to other scenarios I think that events create their own momentum and the UK slide will accelerate, with the now successful Brexiteers chortling in their victory, as the pound slides away.

we seem to be forgetting one thing here. We are only one half of the equation. The EU may just say that we are out on 31 October so we may have no choice. Don't know how likely that is but I suppose it could happen.
Grey, I think that is becoming more likely every day. The two strong allies in the EU supporting extensions of Thrusk and Merkel will be gone by October.

There is one and only one Withdrawal Agreement. It is signed and sealed by the EU and the UK negotiation team last October . It has not been touched since then and in my opinion will not be altered by one jot .

we can't leave without parliament enacting brexit legislation for domestic law, first of all, the 2018 EU Withdrawal Act.
That was the reason why we could not leave last March.
If we crash out as you said on the 31st October, the government will be in limbo until fresh GE.
As flecc explained, BJ won't charge any tariff until the new government takes over.
Any WTO brexit should be relatively short in time scale. A new government would then have the choice how to brexit or rejoin.
Whichever way you look at it, if we have not left by the next GE, a lot of conservatives will vote for Farage and let JC into No 10. If BJ crashes out, a lot of Farage's supporters won't bother to vote, JC will still get in.
Sorry Woosh, that is rewriting history. The reason the UK did not leave on 29March, was because, Mrs May requested an extension. The EU Council unanimously approved that extension. The reason the UK did not leave in April was because Mrs May requested an additional extension,.The only reason why the UK is still in the EU is because the EU Council saw fit to allow this extension continue until October. October being the last possible date that the current commission has legality. After each extension, the UK Parliament then passed enabling motions deferring their exit date. British law does not bind the EU.
