Funny thing but several months back various media outlets were saying at the end of the day JC will decide when and if we leave the EU. At the time I thought what a load of tosh but it seems that'll probably turn out to be correct and the scarecrow & wicked witch will work out a deal so we can leave on time.
Then having fulfilled the democratic choice of the people we will then be free to start campaigning to re-join the EU.
Can't wait to leave so we can re-join.

May has said that Labour should listen to what voters said on Thursday and help the Conservatives deliver a Brexit deal.

The Conservatives, who are positioned as a leave party lost more than 1300 council seats. UKIP who are without question a leave party lost 145 council seats. Labour & JC , who doesn’t know whether to take a dump or have a haircut, lost 82 council seats. The Lib Dems, who’s stated aim is to Remain in the EU gained 703 seats.

So what is May actually hearing when she “listens” to voters? I genuinely believe that she has a mental impairment which makes her unfit for public office.

Did Exactly the same in my ward (first time ) You had a choice between Labour,Cons,Greens or Lib Dems,
Lib Dem got in by 63% of the vote.
Local Labour Council blamed Yvette Cooper. they said she wouldn't know democracy if it scratched
her eyes out. Funny Enough the Lib Dem candidate never mentioned he was Lib Dem in any of his
leaflets he called himself a Focus group instead.(was on the ballot paper Focus team Lib Dems)

They kicked out the previous regime when they voted PIS in!
so their opposition are globalists?
you are fast becoming a pro.
I much prefer to hear what you think and why.

wiki has this on PIS:

Initially the party was broadly pro-market, although less so than the Civic Platform.[47] It has adopted the social market economy rhetoric similar to that of western European Christian democratic parties.[24] In the 2005 election, the party shifted to the protectionist left on economics.[47] As Prime Minister, Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz was more economically liberal than the Kaczyńskis, advocating a position closer to Civic Platform.[51] However, unlike Civic Platform, whose emphasis is the economy, Law and Justice's focus during their first term in power was fighting corruption.[47]

On foreign policy, PiS is Atlanticist and less supportive of European integration than Civic Platform.[47] The party is soft eurosceptic,[10][11] and opposes a federal Europe. In its campaigns, it emphasises that the European Union should 'benefit Poland and not the other way around'.[52] It is a member of the anti-federalist Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists, having previously been a part of the Alliance for Europe of the Nations and, before that, the European People's Party.[24][53]

Did the election leaflets contain an imprint? What did that say?

Have any of the other candidates put in a complaint?

What do you mean by imprint ? …….. Just googled it...….it looks like they did (need good glasses to see it) He did most of his canvasing on social media and kept his link with Lib Dems vey low profile.

they lost them not because they are a leave party, but because they have not fulfilled what they promise. To leave on 29/3. Liberal Democrats gained seats because UKIP has shot itself in the foot and voters had nowhere to go. BTW I don't know how they call themselves Democrats when they only want democracy to be what they want. They will get hammered in the EU elections

Libdems won a lot more seats than UKIP lost, so the reason is much more than that. The last polls show increasing support for remain, my guess if there is a new GE now, brexit is not going to happen.

Brexit was never going to happen, but whatever happens I do think the whole process has been valueable. We are all more aware about politics, the EU and economics and we have seen exactly what our politicians are worth and who they are. I suspect Brexit has destroyed May, Corbyn, Johnson and Cameron. The country may well be divided but at least its more informed. The weakness within our system has been demonstrated and EU attitudes have had a thorough examination. Not a lot has come out unscathed.
We havent seen rioting or anything like it and the economy has ticked over and on regardless. I actually think its been of great benefit. Us, the EU and all the Parties need to have a good look at themselves and that has happened. Where from here? Who knows but so what.
Our MPs needed a good shake up, and they got one.

Democracy is now Remain as all the polls clearly show. Remain now has a far greater lead margin than there was in the referendum for Leave, now people know so much more about the subject.
.
Why is this not being reflected in Tory and Labour policies, actions and talk. Listen to May and you, d guess 80% of voters still want out. I, m still in despair over Labour/JC.. Havent a clue whats going on in there.
I do suspect Remainers are doing what I, d questioned why they hadnt, ie backing Lib Dem? Thing is would they do same in a GE and will BXP have a part to play.
Next GE could be a fight between Lib Dem and BXP??? Farage or Cable? Couldnt be worse than Corbyn or May

A very clear majority no longer want Brexit.
.
The Polls Clearly show Mmmmmm ….This was the headline in the paper before the local Elections

What do the latest polls predict?
Polling experts predict the Conservatives could lose 800 seats, with Labour, the Lib Dems and Ukip getting chunks of their vote. ( I suppose they got the Lib Dem bit right)

they have obviously registered their disgust in the 2 main parties. I don't think just saying that they won more than UKIP lost is a true reflection. Maybe if there was a GE you may see even more shift in peoples allegiances

After Tory and Labour probably agree on May's deal plus a form of Customs Union, put it back to the people as the Deal or Remain, and Remain would win.

The people can now clearly see there is no advantage in leaving with such a deal, which is Brino. Not a true exit, still tied to the EU and it still costing us money but having no say.

As everyone can see, what's the point?
