How can you drink red tea black?
As someone who for many years has not taken milk in my tea, my taste has ended up on teas like high grown Ceylon.

As someone who for many years has not taken milk in my tea, my taste has ended up on teas like high grown Ceylon.
.. oh dear yet another educational stint.. the tea favoured in Ireland, is not the red tea as in Rooibos, . It is a true tea from Rwanda, which are very black leaves, but which makes a red to golden brew, and which can accept either lemon or milk with equal aplomb.. incidentally black tea( non milked), allowed to cool with a slice of lemon,overnight and drunk next day is delicious... The lemon counteracting the tannin.How can you drink red tea black?

Learn from the experts , we Irish are the second most prolific tea drinkers in the world, way ahead of the UK, . Tea not Guiness is the national drink!.
.. so post BREXIt, Ireland will be in a class of its own in the EU, at three times the amount per capita as the nearest competitor.. the Neatherlands

, had a smiley for a reason. It was amusement in exactly the same way as when people ask for green tea black, or white tea black.

No, they were actually English. Today's 21st century Irishmen are as likely to be in management.
Not their normal job though, one is our handyman who does casual building work for our self-run premises management company. The other a lad who works casually for him but is in building college part time.

the issue for the EU and TM is simple: whatever deal both sides come up with, Parliament may vote it down if Labour and the SNP oppose it.
There are about 60 fanatics on each side: hard brexit and BRINO. Either side can cause big troubles.

Actually what is happening with the anti-dumping duty on chinese ebikes should give us a taste of how the EU will treat the UK after Brexit.
It is obvious that any trade situation that is adverse to the EU will be slapped down with tariffs.
When we were part of the EU we were the country that often vetoed EU tariffs that didnt suit our country. But when we are out of the club the EU will treat us,not unreasonably,as a third country and make life difficult for us to sell into the EU and we will have no veto.....TUV was always a big obstacle to selling into Germany.

But that's with a very complicated setup of some 120 individual trade agreements which took seven years to create, and it's still not complete. Also they have no access to services, and that would really hurt us.

that's why Guy Verhofstadt reckons 10 years to get it sorted.
By that time, people would have wondered what the fuss was all about because if we are still out, it would be BRINO anyway.

The accountancy firm’s report chimed with a Lloyds Bank survey last week that showed optimism across British businesses about the outlook has faded to its lowest level this year.
Last month, multinational companies Airbus (AIR.PA) and Siemens (SIEGn.DE) warned their investments in Britain could be at risk if Britain leaves the EU without a deal. They directly employ about 30,000 people in Britain.
“Uncertainty about the timing and the nature of the Brexit settlement has added to CFOs’ worries about the final destination of the Brexit process,” Deloitte Chief Economist Ian Stewart said."
