Europe is fine. It's the Eu that's the problem.nothing wrong with that. Personal reasons, family, business etc. All that and politics are not necessarily predictable nor directly linked.

Mark my words boys and girls there will be no second referendum.swallow their pride and accept that any brexit is still better than no brexit.
the reality is if they don't pipe down a little, as flecc said, more people will get fed up with their noises and there will be a second referendum.
Welcome to the forum.Europe is fine. It's the Eu that's the problem.
'Thickos and Racists' are obviously more intelligent than one has been led to believe.Calling people thicko’s and racists helps no one, it’s certainly not conductive to convincing people that they have made a mistake, and that they should accept us staying in.
Brexit is an excellent idea. Who is putting such rubbish in your head young man?Nope! To understand the potential catastrophe this announcement presents would be to admit that 'Brexit' is a bad idea but those who stand to increase their personal fortunes will persevere with the headlong rush to crash out of the EU, regardless.
The thickos who supported the fascist rabblerousers like Farage, Johnson, Gove, Davis and Fox because of their racist outpourings about immigration and lies about the aims and structures of the EU will also continue to support 'Brexit' for all the worst reasons imaginable.
It may well be in the long-term interest of the country to crash out and let the suffering begin as eventually, the thickos will come to realise that they have been hoodwinked by a bunch of multi-millionaire charlatans. At some point, good sense will prevail and the whole nation will come to realise that the only hope for Britain's economic future prospects lies in re-joining the USofE, even without any discount.
Tom
we are still split roughly in the middle regarding brexit. There are indications that brexit may be reversed in a new referendum but I don't think many people have changed their mind. In order to get out of limbo land, we need a more clear cut win, I reckon 60/40 would do it.Though it would be good if they got on with things and either leave or cancel, and let things get back to normal.
Least worst, yes your probably correct.we are still split roughly in the middle regarding brexit. There are indications that brexit may be reversed in a new referendum but I don't think many people have changed their mind. In order to get out of limbo land, we need a more clear cut win, I reckon 60/40 would do it.
Anything less clear cut would cause chaos: why not a third referendum?
Kicking that can down the road is about the least worst outcome and transition is the way to do it.

Brexit BETRAYAL: Rees-Mogg demands Labour answer to Leave voters after SHOCK U–TURN
LABOUR was accused of betraying Brexit voters last night after senior figures pledged to fight to keep Britain tied to the EU's single market. In a fresh policy u-turn ahead of next week’s crunch Commons votes on Theresa May's Brexit plans, Labour frontbenchers yesterday tabled a string of amendments to the Government's flagship departure legislation designed to keep Britain closely linked to Brussels.
What a convenient memory Moggy has, all the leave champions claimed during the referendum campaign that we wouldn't need to leave both the Single Market and Customs Union
Answer to the leave voters yourself for wanting something that was promised wouldn't happen Moggy!
Thank you very much. I do get rather heated about this whole Brexit thing. My husband says I should stand for election but I am too old for all that now.Welcome to the forum.
you are just as welcome to make your point as anyone else. But I fear that is not a popular opinion around here
No stay, you seem to be forthright with your opinionWhat nonsense - absolute poppycock. Everybody knew leaving the EU meant leaving both the single market and the customs Union.
This thread is terribly entertaining. I am new here and was going to ask about the right electric bike for a 75 year old lady who finally has to admit her body won't do what it used to. However - I was drawn to this where you are all talking politics. I should leave well alone as I can see most of you appear to wish to stay within the EU which I am utterly opposed to. We did not ever vote for this closer and closer union and finally when they ordained to let us have a vote we jolly well told them what we thought. But I fear that is not a popular opinion around here so I should probably go find out about which bike to get.
That is exactly what my husband says - usually as he disappears down to his shed to fix one of the things he keeps there (he tries to keep me out because he says I disturb his concentration). No stay, you seem to be forthright with your opinion
There you go, we agree on something, T May’s government making a pigs ear of things. That is exactly what my husband says - usually as he disappears down to his shed to fix one of the things he keeps there (he tries to keep me out because he says I disturb his concentration).
If you want my real opinion I think T. May and this government is making a pigs ear of the whole negotiation and they should put Dominic Cummings in charge. That man is the most intelligent human on the planet but don't try telling that to anybody in SW1 they hate him.
Where have you been all my life Jennifer?Brexit is an excellent idea. Who is putting such rubbish in your head young man?
I suppose he is the box between Michael Gove's ears.they should put Dominic Cummings in charge.
Gosh Jenn, that view seems incredibly similar to that held by a former contributor to this thread. Welcome to the discussion nonetheless. If you want my real opinion I think T. May and this government is making a pigs ear of the whole negotiation and they should put Dominic Cummings in charge. That man is the most intelligent human on the planet but don't try telling that to anybody in SW1 they hate him.

Would this be the same Dominic Cummings who said these things recently? That is exactly what my husband says - usually as he disappears down to his shed to fix one of the things he keeps there (he tries to keep me out because he says I disturb his concentration).
