Some merit in that and when I ask myself who is the more likely to deliver I am firmly on the side of Brexit and the opportunity it presents us. I do not buy into your constant rantings about the privileged rich and famous. I see that as little more than a sideline which has no real bearing on my life or indeed most others. If, they were to go too far then 'we' (another one for you) are quite capable of doing something about it. Zimbabwe sets the scene. That will not happen because a bunch of Left Wingers might think it a good idea, that's simply the politics of envy and of no value whatsoever and will always be seen as such by anyone with a broad view - most of us.
Now I know that you say that you are not a Tory and have never voted for them and of course I accept that........but why is it that with every one of your posts a picture of a duck comes into my mind?

Zathlan, when quoting someone else, it is usual to identify the source of the quote. Then any reader can check up on the bono fides of the original author. Probably just a simple omission on your part.

What I find amusing? is that the term anti-Semitic is generally considered as a pro Arab and Anti Jewish adjective. Both the Jewish people and the Arabic peoples are both Semitic . Of course there are people of the Jewish religion who are not Semitic.
I,ve edited post and given source.
What I find amusing (??) is that you and others take trouble to reply to my posts but Tom posts utter rubbish, offensive and insulting bile and not a word ?
( did you say anything about his post likening queen to Myra Hindley ? I don't think so Daniel but I omit source of a quote and 30 seconds later you or OG defend Tom.)
We should all be capable of criticizing offensive posts irrespective of their political persuasion especially those who make it their mission to criticise other posters and politicians.
Vox political is part of current problem, not the solution. Those fools and many like them are keeping labour out of power.

Like I said Daniel...I could not have done it better.
We might aswell close thread and put in its place a link to Vox political. ( Think that,s where he gets this garbage from but he hasn't told us source)

" A fault denied is twice committed"

Ironically one of AC Graylings.

This is one of his others. Perhaps we should all read it.

“Misuse of reason might yet return the world to pre-technological night; plenty of religious zealots hunger for just such a result, and are happy to use the latest technology to effect it."

If you go back towards some earlier posts of mine, you will find that I recommended moderation in language by all concerned, and a reduction in the amount of personalise abuse on a few occasions. Since some of the contributors, yourself included, have chosen to ignore those requests I no longer bother.
Neither do I bother referring to or responding to comments attributed to local UK politicians, . UK politics bores me , I don't know the players, am not interested in them and it will become increasingly irrelevant as the UK exits the EU community. Should I be interested in political manouvers, I can look closer to home.

If you looked more closely at my postings, and I suggest you have better things to do with your life, you will find that I have disagreed with almost every poster on some topics and agree with most on others.

You are right we are wasting our time on here.
I,ll repeat AC Grayling.
" A fault denied is twice committed"
Wonder how many times you have actually criticised Tom ? Hypocrit springs to mind.

Very funny! I doubt you will find that I said I had never voted Tory? I'm certainly not a member of their, or indeed anyone else's, Party. Not so sure about Tom however, he chose not to answer the question.

Calm down now!

I agree with most of the comments but to be fair only Tom seems incapable of accepting other points of view. However, OG isn't far behind. It does become a little tedious and I doubt such conversations would take place face-to-face.

Not a bad measure perhaps?

Then it is time for you to consider your behaviour, and give up criticising the actions of other's when yours are even worse, evasive and hardly ever on topic, as now

Very droll! A master in the art of being unable to accept anyone else's point of view accuses others of their own fault?

Thought you,d jump.in, comes with a guarantee. Now have a go at Tom. You cant.
Another hypocrit.
OG you have been devoted over past months to spotting poor behaviour, silly comments, bad reporting etc etc both on tho thread and in public life but you fail in the slightest to comment on worse ones by certain individuals on here. To be honest you have completely lost any objectivity I assumed you had...and why ? To offer some un deserved support to a fool. I dont understand it at all. He has gone way beyond any realms of decency on more than one occasion yet you fail to do exactly what you do for every other person on thread, ie review their comments critically.

Saying mine and Peterl,s comments are anything like Tom's is ridiculous. When did either of us bring Myra Hindley into thread. I wonder what replies a leaver would have accumulated had they said anything like Tom.
And by the way I consider 90% of Tom,s posts OT...because they are. Perhaps you could point it out to him aswell.

There are some people on here who have obviously never won a high school debating contest. Or maybe just threw the rule book out the window when they left formal education?

Hint: Personal attacks do not better ones argument, rather the contrary.

Can we have some fact based posts please?

Zathlan, the reason I requested you to identify your source, is evident when one starts to read a little about that organisation..... A private body, acting without the endorsement of the wider Jewish community. The Jewish representative council in Ireland , found it necessary to publically disassociate itself from them when it organised a campaign to have a journalist , a Mr Kevin Myers , fired from the Sunday Times . Now I don't want to introduce a red herring trail on Zionism etc, so I won't respond to this, let's keep the focus on Brexit.

what would happen if a soft border between NI and the ROI turns out to be impossible after brexit?

This am on the today programme labour's shadow Chancellor did a relatively reasonable job of describing in part that offshore tax avoiding capital is what really propel brexit, they care about the implications of a hard border, the recession that follows brexit as much as they cared about the peace process, public services when they yanked Theresa's chain to get her to sabotage it by bribing the dup with our money

Not that sure I would agree with Mr McDonald but I certainly don't understand what you write here Steb. Perhaps, I could ask that you rephrase it so that I can at least understand what he said earlier?
