An old quote has re-emerged in an Anthony Hilton column for Thursday's
Evening Standard, which may give you pause for thought as to how you voted in the EU referendum:
I once asked Rupert Murdoch why he was so opposed to the European Union. 'That’s easy,' he replied. 'When I go into Downing Street they do what I say; when I go to Brussels they take no notice.'
Thank goodness for an unbiased and independent press that prints the untarnished truth.
And is continuing to do so at the very moment firing off with all guns against the EU.
Why bother? because they are afraid their supporters will realise they have been used and discarded once the vote was cast, and upset the apple cart.
