Nuke the Ba$$tards Those Subs need a bit of exercise Start with those Luxembourg fokkers and their Paypal hideout . Then on to the HP sauce factory in Holland, what worse insult can you think of. HP actually made in Holland !! This really sealed their fate for me, what next? Cumberland sausage from Slovakia? Kirriemuir gingerbread from Krakow? Is nothing sacred?. However that Riesling from Aldi is rather good, thankfully it's Australian and not that gerry antifreeze muck. Rum and Sodomy made us great. Floggings will resume until morale improves.

Cadburys Creme eggs from Poland, 94% consumed in the UK. Kill them all!

Gove's & Johnson's theme 'who governs us' is to me obviously Westminster, not the EU but millions would agree with their message.
democracy is expensive but it does work. The people who gave them willingly power yesterday can take it away from them just as easily in a couple of years. This time, no lies.
For me that is the important reason for what has just happened

Every generation faired better than the previous, they all suffered to get us where we are now and I am eternally grateful for their sacrifice. The majority have spoken, I am sorry you cannot accept that.

I stand by my statement and there has never been a better time or place to live. It has nothing to do with the political elite.

We are where we are, undermine it or embrace it, beauty of being here and now is you are free to make your own decision. Not the case everywhere!
Why are you supposing I cannot accept the result? look back through the posts and you will see I predicted a Brexit win.
That in no way obliges me to regard it as sensible as it isn't in my opinion,
Your statement about this being a great time to live is correct, but with a proviso that that has a great deal to do with the political elite, as they have always taken every opportunity to oppose any improvement to the conditions of working people, and now they are completely unfettered by any EU rules, it cannot be assumed that they won't take the opportunity to whittle away at the quality of your lifestyle.
Free to make your own decision? yet you chose to place yourself at their mercy? Oh Dear!

Of course we are as bad. We make Russian branded Vodka, Indian named curry sauces, American Coca Cola, Italian branded pasta, New York bagels, Carlsberg Danish lager and numerous other foreign food items in the UK.

That's another thing, we kicked Napoleon's ass at Waterloo so high time we returned to proper measures. I'll have a bushel of choccy and a firkin of wine.
Avoirdupois rules from now on, proper stuff, 16 oz, 1 lb, 14 lb 1 stone, 8 stone 1 cwt, 20 cwt 1 ton. Pure music. Although I must admit that the old man does sound a bit more impressive in metric.

And what did we actually do that affects these people in power? promote a different fool from the same circus ?
this is our circus and if we don't like it we can get rid, unlike the eu where we have no power at all. We have never been comfortable with it but over the years have been dragged deeper into it against our will. today is long overdue and I don't share your pessimistic doom laden view of the future of the UK

Take away their cushy £200k per year MEP gravy train jobs after they've finished milking us this side of the pond ;-).

Who is this we you are referring to? and are you aware that all EU laws were made with us taking part in forming them, and they could not be ratified without our approval? We could veto them and often did. They have all been approved by our elected Government.
Where then does this idea of no power at all over them come from? and what have we been dragged into when we opted out of the Euro and Shengen?
You are not making sense, do please check the facts, they are not at all what you have been led to believe.
By the way i am actually optimistic about the future, as it will almost certainly end with us either trying to get back in, or adopting the Norway position.
I recommend you go and look that up,rather than have me explain it, as you will not believe what we have just done makes sense, and have wilfully thrown away at a great disadvantage to ourselves.
Now we have no power in the EU, yet we need it more than ever.

And £.s.d. while we are about it, confuse the hell out of the euro users.

Maybe fathoms and acres too, though I'd give rods, poles and perches a miss. :)
