No, you've misread it. It's 29/1/21.

The lady's rather scruffy handwriting has abbreviated the height of the oblique stroke between 1 and 21, making the 1 of January look like 11.
.
Come on now, flecc, the date is obviously 1121. You keep going on about your age , but you are just being modest. Was that not the jab you got before going on the Crusades? or was it after the rescue mission for the White Ship?.

I would have been doing my best to prevent the Crusades and certainly wouldn't have taken part.

Incidentally while you are here, BBC's Radio 4 series "The Briefing Room" has just had a program on the increased likelyhood of Irish Reunification, examining in some detail the poll process. Taking evidence from a variety of interested parties I found it interesting and informative.

I know you cannot access the i-player but I can put an MP3 online for you in seconds if you wish?

All the evidence is that whatever the mechanism that drives Evolution, for some reason It has got stuck in reverse gear in this country.
Wish it it was, we'd be back in the EU next January !

More like Rees Mogg, Britain got stuck in neutral during the 19th Century when we had an empire and lived in a state of mass delusion that it could go on for ever.

Thank you. But probably un necessary. We would be already aware of the intricacies. We are very familiar with polls and referenda. It is a good idea that thinking heads in the UK are beginning to consider this. But it is a decade premature in my and general views here. The amount of education needed to both educate our Northern friends, and sensitise us in the South to the changes we need to adopt will take a lot of time

The contributors were predominantly Irish north and south and more positive about the prospect of it occurring. One asked when reunification could occur said 5 years, no, 10 years more likely, so matching your decade.

An estimated 800 millions worldwide have been infected with Covid-19.

That's a very large study sample.

Is it unreasonable to ask why we want to experimentally infect some more?

Credit where it's due (as boris supporters on the thread would say). this is much more transparent than what we did in care homes. Randomised control studies with the south african variant is no doubt next

Made me smile yesterday. Interviewing some bloke who has now been told he should isolate. He had nothing that serious but 5 factors which increased his risk. Obese, diabetic, high blood pressure, minor heart complaint and lived in a very poor area.
Its not on he said "why the f... should I isolate, and if I should why didn't they tell me before".
Just how stupid do you have to be to not isolate with that list and how more stupid do you have to be to blame NHS for telling you now... But not 6 months ago.. And then to say you are ignoring it anyway...??

Priti Patel has hit on a new way of dealing with immigrants after looking at the cost of old army barracks.?:D

Another amusing story on today's news. A 33 year old with a true BMI of 30 verging on the edge of obese received an invitation to have the jab and was baffled why, but he did get an appointment to comply. However it still concerned him why at so young an age so he contacted his surgery.

After investigation it turned out that his height of 6ft 2ins had been recorded on his records as 6.2. Since the person checking the records for jab candidates knew that couldn't possibly be 6.2 metres they entered his height as 6.2 centimetres. The BMI calculation showed his was 48,000, so obese he was automatically entered for the jab as very high risk. The surgery was very apologetic about their mistake!
