:D :D :D The BLAME community are blaming Covid deaths in their community on racism. :D:D:D

What a disgraceful attitude. They are dying because for some reason, yet to be discovered, the disease tends to result in a worse outcome.

All the more reason to socially distanced, stop the mumbo-jumbo voodoo vaccine nonsense and to focus on avoiding Covid. Constantly looking for something or someone to BLAME for their own failings isn’t going to help.

Ridiculous clowns.

Saw on another thread something about a crank sensor. Had to read it, thought it was some kind of selection filter for members.??!!

Interesting that, despite being called out over sweatshops and paying under minimum wages, Boohoo seem to have been buying up even more of the industry...

Accepted it is the Express, but if report is true it will not do EU any favours with EU countries struggling on Vaccine front. I wonder what we would be saying if Westminster organised a vaccine centre solely for MPs and Civil servants???

Poor old Kier. An awful lot of words but saying nothing. He doesn't want to return to business as usual after Covid. Hardly an election winning policy, or even a policy at all.
if he had said, make UK great again and drain the tory swamp - would you vote Labour next time?

I think it would make sense to vaccinate all MPs and staff at Westminster. Then for them to return to business in the HoC. That would have sent out a clear message of leadership.

Instead, they will be calling for the cannon fodder to return to office blocks and sandwich shops via Zoom from hundreds of miles behind the front line.

Unfortunately the undiscovered reason is already known. Its called poverty..and the prices that it already exerts. Missed schooling, high rise blocks, high density living, crowded buses, , poorer nutrition, and those working are in in the lower paid, care homes or working in the front end of food production.

I see your point but can you imagine the furore of indignation and accusations of entitlement from our comrades.

That is not uniquely anything to do with ethnic origin tho. Many of the Covid problems are lifestyle choices made by groups and not always circumstances forced on them. (Sheffield has had problems with Asian weddings, funerals and religious gatherings, all nothing to do with socio economic standing)

Zlatan, Why the express is even concerned about EU taxpayers is touching, but the ignorance behind that article is astonishing. I want those Eurocrats, whom ,I am paying to be at their jobs, and not having the kerfuffles of two weeks ago re enacted. It is less that I worry for their health, but a lot more I worry about the multiplier effect of botched decision making. When there is a product in short supply, it is not the most needy or the most deserving who should get it, but where it will do the most good for the many. That is why I wanted Front line medical staff, police, and police command and control centres sorted first.

BS. If you take 100000 Covid cases from each community, all of similar fitness, age and living standards, more from the BLAME community will die. For some reason, yet to be discovered, the disease tends to have a more severe affect on them.

That’s why they need to make sure they get vaccinated and stop mixing with each other. Not constantly getting distracted with mumbo-jumbo, witchcraft and playing the victim.

it's early days.
I much prefer Kier Starmer's careful, slowly catch your monkey, approach.
There is no point going for JC's program, it was defeated several times, it will be defeated again.

A “perfect storm” of low wages, cramped housing and failures of the £22bn test-and-trace scheme has led to “stubbornly high” coronavirus rates in England’s most deprived communities, an unpublished government report has found.

A classified analysis by the Joint Biosecurity Centre (JBC), produced last month, concluded that “unmet financial needs” meant people in poorer areas were less likely to be able to self-isolate because they could not afford to lose income.

In two of the UK’s worst-hit areas, Blackburn-with-Darwen and Leicester, the study found that more people seeking financial help to self-isolate had been rejected than accepted. It said: “This could increase the likelihood for individuals to be unable to comply with self-isolation requirements as a result of their unmet needs.”
