Brexit, for once some facts.

Facts please. Not news bulletins unless they identify official EU spokespersons by name . See my previous posts . I have been very clear on this. I see this as important and would be Very annoyed if in fact the EU had threatened the NI Protocol. But Evidence please .. not talking heads all saying its a bad idea. I have not seen any official EU document or press conference proposing it. I have seen two documents which 1 .make no reference 2 which deny its impact on NI Protocol
If you won’t believe the evidence of your own eyes and ears, I’m unable to render assistance.

The EU’s (Germany’s) actions should serve as a warning to Ireland. This all boils down to Germany attempting to seize vaccine for Germany and they don’t give a shite about Ireland, instantly willing to trash the border arrangement. You have been warned, you are of no use now the Brexit negotiation has concluded. You can be gassed.

Bull.. I think you can guess the rest.
You see Woosh, this guy doesn't do complex or analysis its all Trumpian simple for him
Vaccine good ..no vaccine bad.
Uk good ...rest of world bad
Headline good ...facts or qualifications bad.

On one point I do agree with him... Confusing the simple with multiple facts is counterproductive. And even an ineffective vaccine which protects only 50% is better than no vaccine. There are already legions of antivaxxers forming up and giving them ammunition dies not help.

Oh I get plenty of of information ....but authoritive , verifiable and credible is less plentiful.
So I take it therefore that you could not find anything beyond newsflashes?

Sometimes things are simple. For example, do you believe the country’s leading expert on vaccine, or do you believe a ridiculous leprechaun and a bike salesman from Southend (sorry Woosh I know there is more to you than that)?

This leads us to two points;

1) You have misinterpreted the vaccine trial data and as a consequence, drawn the wrong conclusion.

2) You are being a knob-head. Stop

I am not defending Macron but you should read the test results published by AZ.
The headline figures are the relative case ratios placebo /vaccinated groups.

Out of 175 incidents, 84 were from the vaccinated group against 91 in the placebo group.
Specifically from the 55+, first jab, up to 21 days:
hospitalised: 2 in the vaccinated group, 4 in the placebo group.
after 21 days: 1 in the vaccinated group, 3 in the placebo group.
Can you make a judgement call to approve the vaccine based on just 9 hospitalisation incidents or on the 84 against 91 incidents? Underlying factors can easily move the 'efficacy' one way or the other.
On top of the raw incident cases, you have to take into account the immune reaction to the adenovirus used as vector. Even if the body does not react to the virus in the first jab, it will in the second.
Honestly, we need any good enough vaccine but if we could choose, I am still voting for the Pfizer.

If I apply my Danidl crap boiler to the above, we are left with;

21 days after the first vaccination, one person ended up in hospital and nobody died.

More or less what it says on the tin

I see that the place we gave to those fleeing terror and tyranny in their home country and arriving in the U.K. after passing through multiple other safe countries, has been set on fire by those fleeing terror and tyranny. They have actually set fire to the refuge that U.K. tax payers gave to them.

They are BLAME ing it on Coronavirus. Apparently the virus made them do it. If they stayed in their rooms like the rest of us are having to do it wouldn’t spread. But no, they want to mix and mingle and guess what?

So thanks for burning down the refuge they have been given, but it’s not really how civilised people go about endearing themselves to those trying to help them. Could you imagine if my house flooded and a neighbour put me up for the night to help out, and then I burnt his house down the next day as a thank you?

This “asylum seeker” incident is unbelievable and it’s an act carried out by people with an attitude which amounts to little more than primitive savagery. Of course, the reality is that these people aren’t asylum seeking, they are scrounging chancers out to bleed dry whatever they can get their paws on.

I hope Fat-Arse makes these ungrateful savages remain in the place they have now created for themselves.
Fascinating, one in four of the inmates has tested positive for Covid, some were moved out, the others became troublesome because they were told to stay

The story is real, but was it true.?. If the EU had sought to break the protocol, it is at least feasible they would have discussed it with the Irish Foreign Minister and or Taoiseach.. neither of which occurred. They have not acknowledged anything about a U turn,in anything , I have seen, . The only reference I have seen is a confirmation to S.Coveney that the NI Protocol was unthreatened...and that was very late yesterday.
So I would be extremely interested in being directed to an EU statement earlier in the day. Note not a BBC or SKY or even RTE report, not the reactions of talking heads but something unequivocally EU.
I went through the last month of the EU documents, there is only the statement just released, none that states otherwise.

They are positive because they aren’t doing as they are told, keeping themselves in isolation like normal people. Instead they are committing criminal acts of arson. Fat-Arse either needs to get that island up and running or put an electric fence around the whole complex and throw food over it once per day. They can sort it from there. These people are taking the ****.

If the U.K. is so bad & the vaccine is such rubbish, why did you accept your vaccination? Answer, because you are a hypocrite who hoovers up the goodies whilst stuck in a perpetual loop of criticism.
Not again, won't you ever grow up? you have the weirdest perspective that works on the idea that other people suffer as you do from greed and jealousy
And since my stance doesn't vary it isn't hypocritical
Just critical
All the points I make are valid as far as I can check
What I want is a job done properly as specified for everyone, and you act like a kid with a big bag of sweets he wants only to share in return for being told what a good boy he is.

In your simple mind they are all guilty when for all we know it could be the action of a single individual.
Pathetic

I’ve said many times that no one is safe until we are all safe. That means everyone, everywhere vaccinated. So only a bitter & twisted communist infused mind could arrive at such a ridiculous conclusion.

Agreed.. my take exactly. You probably did not get to see the text appended to S. Coveneys twitter , labelled EuCom, where it stated unequivocally that the NI Protocol was not threatened.

Macron said (in English):
"the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine was "quasi-ineffective" for over-65s ".
The German Vaccination authorities said pretty much the same the day before.
The point is the small number of incidences, it's like the buses.
You may see two No 9 buses and one No 10 arriving within a few minutes, that does not mean No 9 has twice the frequency of No 10.
You need to consider the margin of confidence. On the face of it, the world spends billions and billions on vaccines that are first generation of new technology, rushed through without any legal protection for recipients, based on what? one case of hospitalisation against two if doing nothing? (66% efficacy).
Macron urges caution.

Macron said:
“The goal is not to have the biggest number of first injections ... When you have all the medical agencies and the industrialists who say you need two injections for it to work, a maximum of 28 days apart, which is the case with Pfizer/BioNTech; and you have countries whose vaccine strategy is to only administer one jab, I’m not sure that it’s very serious.”

There again, he is not talking rubbish.
