now we have to learn to live with it until the science catches up with the disease. And of course the time to have acted was at the start, but that horse bolted long ago.

I'm hearing of test results taking 25 days to come through. What's the point of that?OK Hancock, we are actually interpreting your 100,000 tests aspiration not to be "capability", not to be achievable only by manipulation, and certainly not to include tests that are lost and not done properly:
Concerns over delays and errors at UK drive-in coronavirus test centres
Staff at one NHS trust have been told not to use the facilities after expansion of testing

Thank you so much, Serco, Deloitte and the other usual suspects.
you can't be serious?I'm hearing of test results taking 25 days to come through.
Kings Castle has stood guard protecting the residents of Ardglass for centuries.I agree. That's the only way.
It's like Japanese knotweed, don't just nip it. Eradicate it. Annihilate it.
By which time we may have achieved herd immunity!now we have to learn to live with it until the science catches up with the disease.

"Hancock: He looks like someone has taken an old suit, then painted a face in a balloon and sat the whole thing in a chair."Handcock is going to be the fall guy here. I give him 14 days.
Have you got the address? The charts shows that the U.K. is by far the worst country in the world in terms of death from coronavirus and for dealing with it. Amanda from Hull is given an opportunity to question the government about this. What does she ask? A question about her ******* grand kids. ****.
OG, nip round to Amanda’s house and kick her in the ****.
Try the local Tory Party HQ.Have you got the address?
She lives next door to dodgy Frank.Have you got the address?
In his position I would have respondedI think I’ve just witnessed the death of Handcock.
Asked if he would apologise for the high number of deaths in care homes, given that the government were warned, that they were told they needed to do testing and that PPE would be an issue, they did nothing. Handcock said it wasn’t a fair question.
Not a good response.
I would not be as pessimistic as that. The future starts now. Isolate, identify clusters , then irradicate that cluster . It could be done, geographically parish or ward by ward . But lockdown without the identification of carriers is just delayingnow we have to learn to live with it until the science catches up with the disease.
