Al Jazeera runs this

According to reports UK frees hundreds of immigrant detainees with nowhere to go, booted out of Morton Hall on a three months release.
According to the Ministry of Justice 153 staff and prisoners had tested positive for Coronavirus and 12 had died, so they have literally been booted out to fend for themselves!

Amazing the lengths people will go to in order to be tested.

Did they release the right ones? Unlike the prisoners. (Mind, given that the wrongly-released prisoners returned when asked, perhaps they were OK to be released?)

Coronavirus crisis: Britons over 70 could face lockdown until autumn of 2021
BRITONS aged 70 and over could be required to remain in coronavirus lockdown until autumn of 2021 according to a senior Conservative.

Er no. Find a vaccine or face revolution, we are simply not going to go quietly into the darkness without a fight.
Expecting us to be shuffled aside to waste quite possibly our last time on Earth simply isn't on.

Put this on Boris's tombstone in memorial of the thousands he killed

All humility? AKA Lethally Criminal Stupidity
A bit more autarky might have meant we analysed our requirements for pandemics and ensured that we were able to manufacture our own. Not on a protectionist basis, but simply to guarantee supply.

The USA has long held strategic reserves - of petroleum, helium, uranium (though authority for that expired) - and other countries did similarly with what they thought essential.

Pandemics produce very odd requirement patterns and availability of materials and manufacturing capabilities are, now very obviously, fundamental requirements.

If you needed 6 B12 injections, that sounds like loading doses. After which you should continue to receive regular injections. Usual (inadequate) frequency is three months. Many need them more often.

So what ? he never was before he went AWOL with a self inflicted wound, so why shouldn't the deserter be put back in the front line in the trenches?
He's malingered long enough
In this age of recycling, couldn’t Handcock be repurposed? I’m sure he’d be useful fetching and carrying things in hospitals to allow those that actually know what they are doing to get on.

Observer has pretty good review of what happened when:

How did Britain get its response to coronavirus so wrong?
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/apr/18/how-did-britain-get-its-response-to-coronavirus-so-wrong

One sentence: The Observer has been told that at least two senior government advisers were on the brink of of quitting before Johnson switched his approach.

Perhaps it would have been better if they had quit?
If this is true, it has to be said that Boris Johnson is directly and personally responsible for many deaths. There are no excuses.

Michael Gove just told Sky News there are “one or two” things in the Sunday Times article that are “off beam”- and said a more detailed response to the allegations will be issued later today.

What evasive excuses are this crummy excuse of a politician and the staff of the American UK fifth columnists going to foist on us next?

Tim Shipman, the Sunday Times’ political editor, remains predictably well-informed about what Michael Gove says in secret meetings. Gove’s now ‘chairing discussions on the long-term options’ and he’s pro-death. ‘Run this hot’ means lifting lockdown while #COVID19 still deadly. https://pic.twitter.com/IAtWpwc45d

Time these politicians were replaced with representatives of the UK people not those of foreign interests and elite lobby groups.
