Just seen Johnson talking tough saying he’s ending early release.Or the fact that they promised immediate action after the last incident? what happened to that?
What happens at the end of the sentence Johno? Oh yes, they’re released. Pillock.

Boris is going to make my predictions of him stirring up the public against him come trueDoes this scientific illiterate understand a single thing about food? Or why many of us are unhappy at some of the changes he seems to want to steamroller through? As you read further, you might also ask what psychology qualifications he has to diagnose hysteria and paranoia? (And isn't hysteria a somewhat sexist term?)
Boris Johnson hints at allowing GM food imports from US
PM attacks ‘hysterical’ fears about US food standards, saying UK will be ‘governed by science, not mumbo-jumbo’
Boris Johnson has hinted at allowing genetically modified food to be imported from the US after Brexit as he called for an end to “hysterical” fears about American products coming to the UK as part of a trade deal.
He also said Britain would be “governed by science, not mumbo-jumbo” when looking at whether imported food was acceptable for consumption in the UK. Johnson criticised “America bashers” who take a “hysterical” attitude towards US food and view it as “inferior”.
And now the science, a really good, detailed bit of real science. Definitely, 100% NOT mumbo-jumbo:
“I look at the Americans, they look pretty well nourished to me. And I don’t hear any of these critics of American food coming back from the United States and complaining … So let’s take some of the paranoia out of this argument.”
(Aside from the fact that you can be a critic of American food and never even go there in order to come back.)
That's nothing to do with Brexit. They've been in financial trouble since 2012. Most of what they've done has been with borrowed money, and they didn't make enough profit to pay it back. They put a lot of resources in to the Atlas, but basically ran out of money, so can't put it into production. A saviour may still turn up.This sad

And an illustrious company it was too
Norton
"
In September 2018 Norton Motorcycles owner Stuart Garner claimed he had no fears about Brexit, and said that it would be a "huge opportunity" to negotiate trade deals around the globe.
He claimed that the UK was better prepared for Brexit than the media would have us believe.
"It's what the country voted for so let's get on with it," he told the Leicester Mercury.
Commenting on the future for his iconic British business, he said: "I believe we will thrive outside the EU. There may be some short-term speed bumps but we'll come out of it stronger.
"We're a strong-willed nation and will make it succeed."
He added: "And I don't buy the media line that we are unprepared for Brexit."
A year ago, Stephen Barclay, the outgoing Brexit Secretary, said Norton was an example of a "great business" that would thrive when Britain leaves the EU.
However less than two years later, in the same week the UK was to leave the European Union, the firm has gone into administration after reportedly struggling to pay a tax bill. The owner also blamed Brexit uncertainty."
I remember mine with fond memories and now a tinge of sadness
It was a 1960 650 SS and three years old when I got it, with a seized engine due to of all things broken rings in the right hand cylinder, nothing that a rebore and new pistons and rings wouldn't fix!
Best handling of any bike I ever rode.

Not a good start Boris
maybe, maybe not. If Nissan keep the current level of production, they will have to gain additional sales in the UK to make up for the shortfall in EU sales. Nissan makes 415,000 cars last year, only 20% of that number(83,000) are sold in the UK. If they can't export as many, then they have to take sales from other car companies.Did someone say Brexit would be bad for Nissan workers?
Nissan have denied this plan completely. Who to believe?maybe, maybe not. Zero sum game comes to mind.
