BJ did win the right to try his luck at WTO brexit.
I think he'll give up before the end of the year. I don't think he'll get anywhere with new trade deals. Not with any of the G8 or top 15 countries for that matter.
He'll try for WTO clause 24 instead.

there is no way we can have JIT supply chain without the single market and customs union. It's the lack of certainty that your shipments won't get delayed for days waiting for inspection.

For Bojo, brexit is just a stepping stone to the top job.

They don't fight these days. There's usually too many cops around, but when you come face to face, there's often a bit of shin kicking, which goes unseen because everybody is looking above waist level. It's interesting to watch and you can get all your expenses paid just for holding a placard.

It's a bit like throwing a sicky, watching daytime telly and suddenly finding oneself watching a soap in which one can choose to play bit parts. I have to say the aim if the Iranians is quite remarkable, if reports are to be believed they can lob numerous short range ballistic missiles into American Air force bases without breaking any windows or causing any embarassment.
