Thn why are you making suggestions that we take ours elsewhere?I didn't know we had to have a 'right' to have an attitude. I thought 'attitudes' were like free speech - you know - free.

Well, I take these cardboard boxes, see and paint them and cut them out so you can see the passengers..Do you have a list of things you like?
I'd be interested to see that.

Are those pictures your work? You have an enviable talent if so. I have no artistic flare whatsoever. If I try to draw a face, it doesn’t look human, hands look like claws, I’m hopeless.Well, I take these cardboard boxes, see and paint them and cut them out so you can see the passengers..

We charge non EU patients in exactly the same way in the UK as your niece would be in New Zealand. Our hospitals have admin staff members whose duty it is to pursue payment and they can get quite bullying at times in enforcing that. The one I witnessed doing that with a middle eastern patient did rather surprise me with her ruthless insistence.Whereas we in the U.K. treat the “non policy holders” and fund that with the policy holders premiums.
My niece is going to work in New Zealand in the new year. She has to undergo a medical for pre-existing conditions and demonstrate that she has a way to fund her medical care, should she become ill. She’s affectively a non policy holder in New Zealand and I guess they are trying to protect their policy holders from the burden she would present if in need of medical care.
That seems like a good system, we should apply it to anyone entering the U.K.
To save OG time I'll set the ball rolling for his list:Do you have a list of things you like?

Then you don't know how to apply!. Ignorance is no defence. I had an occasion to engage with the French medical system. A power cable on a lawn mower exploded and damaged my hand. I should have gone for treatment immediately, but left it a few days and it was getting serious. I paid some 50 euro up front at a local health services clinic ,where I was seen by a Moroccan doctor, and he gave me a load of paperwork for prescriptions and a requirement to visit him next day with some IG anti rabies preparation. The local pharmacy stayed open for me to collect the medicines which came to about 200 euro. And even more paperwork. The next day ( a Sunday) the doctor administered the preparation and gave me even more paperwork. I brought all with me to the local social services health office, where the women were delighted to practice their English ..and I my French. And lo and behold, the majority of my outlay appeared in my French Bank account some sux weeks later. The only information, other than a french bank account was my Irish PPS card.Ha ha, try pitching up at a French or Spanish hospital with an injury, toothache or infection and saying, “Send the bill to the U.K.” No cash, no treatment is the EU way.
He's probably got a taste for holidays after his days walking in the Cairngorms.Where’s fingers?
