As you can see though it's just a vanity exercise, it does mean lots of people view your images, and it is a worldwide site
And no fingers those are page views not a fan club!
A lot better than when I started all those years ago, and if you were lucky the family would look at you efforts.
Nice. Yes. Indeed. You have an eye for it.

I couldn't resist responding to this question.

Have any other negotiations in history set out to make the trading relationship between two parties *more* complicated than the status quo? (Genuine question!)

Replying to @mrjamesob

My nomination would be when Genghis Khan sent the Shah a message seeking trade and greeted him as his neighbor:
The shah had both of the Mongols shaved and had the Muslim beheaded before sending them back to Genghis Khan. This comes under the (Not a good start Boris category)

And today's reason to be cheerful is this
We're selling Cobham Defence firm to US Company
And how is that a reason to be cheerful?
We didn't sell it to the Russians.
"Taking back control? who needs it, when you can sell it off
"Advent’s offer to purchase Cobham was approved by shareholders in August, but delayed in September when the government intervened on national security grounds. "

Now with a big majority National Security is no longer a priority when a quick buck can be made.
Oh, and did I fail to mention this? the Russian interference report will not now be published it is going back to the committee stage.
When it comes back it's own mother wont recognise it.

My suggestion would be that after Brexit Day we rename this glorious union of ours in the cause of inviting investment.
Lets just call it
"Treasure Island"
After all the Americans have started digging up the stolen loot already!

Superb photos OG, as OJ says, you definitely have an eye for a good shot.

If it's of any interest to you, the tight cluster of fungi on the dry side of a tree are Shaggy Scalycaps, Pholiota squarrosa; the cluster of tall mushrooms by the cyclepath are Shaggy Inkcaps, aka Lawyers Wig, Coprinus comatus; and the bright yellow fungi brackets on the side of a tree are Chicken of the Woods, Laetiporus sulphureus.

The pair of colourful little flies hovering by the purple flower are Marmalade Hoverflies, Episyrrphus balteatus, the English name from the orange and white stripes on the abdomen looking like the peel in orange marmalade.

I like listening to James O’Brien, he does a good phone in.

Thanks flecc you obviously have an encyclopedic knowledge in your chosen specialities! it's amazing how the human mind can use different methods to make decisions, mine if definitely images, patterns, colour, lighting and shade orientated, I can always find a route to and from anywhere I have previously visited , without ever remembering a road name or number, or indeed using a map, yet the route will seem familiar
OJ will say easy for someone with the brain of a pigeon.

In my mind the image I have of Brexit is simply another excursion into dangerous waters that will result in returning to the start point again in the end.

Interesting, this might be what I need to inspire a painting...

FIRE SALE EVERYTHING MUST GO.

Boris Johnson has defended the controversial £4bn takeover of UK defence and aerospace company Cobham by a US private equity firm.

World leaders in air to air refuelling technology. Gone.

As I posted earlier, at least he didn't sell it to the Russians
