I’m loving the Labour Party at the moment. It’s like a sketch show from Monty Python with wealthy posh barristers trying to be the most northern and the most working working class.

Emily Thornbury is now claiming that she has cleaned a toilet on a ferry! Why didn’t she declare this last week? It would have definitely led to a different GE outcome. It’s good stuff.

I can claim to have cleaned many in my time, and made plenty that didn't flush work properly with a bent six inch nail set in a wooden handle .. perhaps I should join and stand for the leadership?
After all who can resist a man talented at getting rid of unwanted sxxt?
Vote for me.
I promise free beer tomorrow, and there's plenty more promises where that came from

I wonder how Johnson will deal with The Tiny Scottish Idiot Woman? I think blanking her would be the funniest. Simply don’t acknowledge her existence.

The big question is, who in their right mind considered Emily Thornbury to be a fit and competent person to clean a toilet?

Tony Blair is their most prominent wealthy posh barrister, as is his wife, yet you lot think Blair is the answer for Labour.

You really are inconsistent, the media leading you by the nose.

He’s never pretended to be anything else. It’s the fact that the current crop of imbeciles think they lost because they weren’t “northern” enough and are now desperately trying to pretend to be all northern and toilet cleanery. It’s hilarious.

Labour lost because their spending was fag-packet based nonsense contrived on the hoof, they had numerically illiterate fools like Diane (my son is privately educated) Abbott in key positions and anther out of touch clown who thought Dany Cotton was a man. They simply are not credible. Blair was. Blair won.

Was offered new knee but turned it down. Had stem cell treatment 3 years ago instead. Not perfect but way better than it was. Windsurfing/skiing/sailing on it again.
Interesting. Did you get this on the NHS or private? And if private could you please send me some details (like who to contact) - would much appreciate that.

No. OG just no. The boil was already there and starting to fester. Public opinion was already there and starting to make angry noises. Farage saved us. Really. He did.
Disagree about this and your incorrect view of right support in the EU countries. The right never get beyond a third of support anywhere in Europe now, thanks to the bogey of the nazis, and most of the time it's very much less.

Even before WW2 when many in the establishment here favoured the nazis, Oswald Moseley only ever raised a noisy minority.

And post war in the EU countries the left have a far stronger record of support than the right.

Now that sounds promising
Its been brilliant. No doubt I, ll have to have knee replaced down line but advice from surgeon for post TKR was forget skiing and windsurfing. So went to Villar Bajwa practice London. Stem cell regen and implanted into knee with biological mesh... 3 months later.... Back on water...

The USA connection.... Unite have lagest Labour party membership of any other group and have become not part of it but perhaps 80% of it. Len McCluskey is probably most powerful person in whole Labour movement.
Unite amalgatmated with largest American Steelworkers Union in 2008.(To be fair pre McCluskey) instantly doubling their membership. (Roughly 1.5 million workers on either side of Atlantic)
Unite insist they kept autonomy but why America. Union (not McCluskey) has argued for months our most important market is EU. So why amalgamate with workers 5000 miles away? Then ask yourself why McCluskey against wishes of many in party (Including Starmer, Campbell, Blair and Kinnock) was a staunch Leave supporter? Was it represnting Unite members or was it doing American members a favour. Nobody but nobody has questioned this but its common knowledge.

Had it done at Florence Nightingale Hospital.London. Through Villar Bajwa Practice. (Mr Bajwa carried out op) Had consultations in Cambridge. Yes, private. Initially NHS said they would contribute, had a meeting about it and decided against helping. Its not available on NHS, but there was a large trial taking place. Not sure of outcome.

You don't have to say - I would fully understand if you don't want to - but can you give me some idea of what it cost?

Last two paragraphs say it all really:

"The fallout from Brexit is far from over for Labour. Their dark night of the soul is just beginning. For the reason Brexit presented – and still does — an existential threat to the Left is that it exposed how much one side of the party loathes another. It is the sort of hatred the People’s Front of Judea has for the Judean People’s Front. For like some sort of religious purity cult, parts of the Labour party have been far too invested in the idea that the kingdom would only be ushered in when their own ranks had been sufficiently purged of heretics and unbelievers.

Protestantism is littered with thousands of inward looking churches with dwindling congregations all at the throats of another little church down the road whose divergence on some obscure matter of doctrine has become all consuming. The ridiculous thing is that I still have much in common with the hard Left. Like them, I still believe that there is a deep moral flaw within capitalism. Even so, unless the Labour party can learn to accommodate a far greater bandwith of political commitment it should not be surprised that some of us will be content to remain as ‘Tory scum’."

'Tory scum'.

Sobering reading for the Labour supporters here:

Nor really just another example of people being partisan and "little Englanders" lacking the wider perspective to realise Socialism isn't a "one nation" thing, and so this guy votes to destroy everything he ever aspired to?
That was Corbyn's problem he had no notion of anything other than one country being as far as democracy would work.
There really isn't a sensible future available to the Human Race if it's political horizons stop on the tide line of our shores, we need to move forward to a world government if there is ever to be real peace in the world.
The EU is a start in the right direction, it was a friend and ally, and now in our stupidity we alienate this friend, first turning it into a competitor, and when things go wrong here, describing a group of people mush larger and more powerful than we are as enemies.
It was Sobering reading alright, that people can still have such narrow views of the future and think them a virtue.
We should have left tribalism behind thousands of years ago.
And so we end up with the sort of government people without a vision of the future that is an improvement lumber us with.
Charlatans, con men and women, lies and deceit and false promises and policies that create wars.
Sobering indeed that people are so gullible.
Experience will rinse away Tory scum, we just have to show a little patience for things to go askew with the right wing loonies squalid little plots, and Boris is the man to act as a detergent.
He doesn't want to go down in History carrying the blame if Brexit goes belly up, and will do anything at all to avoid it.
