It doesn't have to be Corbyn or Johnson, there is a Lib-Dem party.

If enough people expressed their disgust at Labour and the Tories, the Lib Dems could get in or at least hold the balance.
.

That would be worse.

Look what happened the last time.

Errr.. So you, d vote Corbyn?? Because, I, m afraid he no longer represents labour. Its Marxism.
[/QUOTE]
it will be a govt of national unity (lib dem labour very similar support, see yougov). So policies will be diluted. More interestingly 34% of electorate still think boris is the best thing since trump. Reminds me of when they said May's lead over corbyn was so far that she could murder the queen on tv and still win an election. Clearly boris has some more self and tory destruction to do before an election ( and happily, like May, I'm sure he will comply)

Worth the risk if they got into power, we'd get proportional representation at last.

At the moment we are stuck in the silly situation where a majority don't want either Labour or the Tories but still consider the Lib Dems to be a wasted vote. Of course if they all plucked up courage it wouldn't be.

They promised that last time. And free tuition fees.

Instead we got brexit and austerity.

The lib Dems can **** off. And stay ****** off.

Fingers. You are being incoherent.and trollish. Stirring up nonsense, without any consistency of purpose.. except to rile people. Just give over. I suspect you actually know that scotch is a drink,so unless you are filled with the stuff, you are not scotch.

That's always been unfair, they didn't win power and their Tory partners would never concede PR.

It's the electorate's fault those policies weren't implemented, since only a small minority of Lib Dem MPs were elected.

I guarantee, elect them into power and proportional representation would be one of their first implementations. They'd seize the opportunity with both metaphorical hands.

I honestly have more contempt for them than I do with the Tories.

At least the Tories are honest in their hate for the working class.

Unfortunately Jo Swinson is starting to believe that the LibDem rise in support is due to people liking them and their policies. But the reality is, they are the most appealing bucket of sick. Unfortunately, this miscalculation by Swinson has caused her to become sidetracked and revert to type. Such things as the rights of women to breast feed goats in public and other such nonsense is starting to distract her from the task at hand.

Agreed, but a very large rise in support for the Lib Dems would be the most effective way of making the main two parties change.

some pundits predict that the LibDems will get 32 seats at the next GE.
I reckon they may even do better than that.

I saw Ed Miliband this morning on the parliament picking up on Bojo 'MPs can be safe if they get brexit done' comment. Ed Miliband was impressive.
JC should have had Ed Miliband as his brexit shadow secretary.

Ed Miliband:

"Last night, the Prime Minister said this, 'The best way to keep every member of this house safe is to get Brexit done.
None of us can agree that the safety of members of this house is the way they vote in this house.”

Polls suggest Bojo should resign, conservative lead over Labour shrinks to 9 points.
Pound drops due to current unstability.

Conservatives: 33
Labour: 24
LibDems: 19
BXP: 13
Greens: 4
SNP: 4

I would say being an MP is probably one of the safest professions in the country

Their biggest concern is avoiding a dose from their sex worker of choice and not getting caught fiddling.

What sort of benighted world do you inhabit...?
Breastfeeding publically in Ireland is protected by law and no person or premises can deny you the right to feed your child. The Equal Status Act (2000) protects breastfeeding mothers from being harassed in public places.
A number of your postings ..including your logo have a a kindergarten level of purience.
I am tempted to say grow up, ..but that might be beyond your capacity.

I'm not Scotch. The residents of Scotland do not form a race.
In my line of work that's referred to as "lexical leakage" (the way fingers inadvertently betrays his real identity with word choice referencing casual racism, stereotypes)

Was your sense of humour extracted at birth or has it diminished over time due to leading a very dull life?

Now stop being a bell-end by trying to pretend that you are some sort of intellectual. Embedded within your style of writing are certain clues, some I have previously remarked on, which betray the fact that you are a limited man who is struggling with inner insecurities regarding intellect.

No - you can't have a recess for your conference.
That's a bit pathetic. It's a break with tradition at a time when an example of proper conduct needs to be set. This would have been a good opportunity to claim a portion of the moral high ground by not stooping to Johnson's level and granting the Conservative party a recess for their conference.

However, I'm not in the least surprised by the behaviour of the congenital thyroid deficient creatures haunting the H o P at this time.
