May I disagree with one point?. The English High Court did not agree or disagree. Their view was that they could not decide, it being beyond their technical competence and therefore invited an appeal to the Supreme Court. If you consider the following:
That the advice of the Attorney General was that proroguing was legal, that the English High Court agreed and the Queen's advisors didn't disagree.
That the PM's action was therefore not known to be illegal at the time.
That the public voted by a majority to Leave the EU and the PM is trying to do that.
That the public trusted the government to carry out their will.
There's no adequate grounds for action against the PM.
More's the pity.
.
An expression only heard in Scotland when an Englishman impersonates a Scot. Maybe you are a secret Sunday Post reader.Och jings! That's braw!
I haven't triggered any UN figures.Look at the UN figures you triggered rapscallion.
What does my understanding of wheels have to do with your grandfather's place of birth? You have to understand wheels that my grandfather was born in the gorbals.
You're not, not even technically.I am Scottish.
Technically.
This is unintelligible drivel, could you try to write what you mean instead of these random outpourings.Bow down upon Our Queen. That is your life.
You will never leave.
No, he was busy selling small ads space in the Shitsville Echo.fingers, did you do the Newsnight piece on Bojo talking about Jo Cox?
This story is getting serious.
Looking at that list, I’m not sure it’s a very flattering endorsement for Scotland.Do you ever get anything right?
Scotland is not an EU member.
The EU is neither blessed nor mine.
The following EU members have a lower life expectancy than Scotland:
Croatia
Czech Republic
Estonia
Poland
Slovakia
Hungary
Bulgaria
Romania
Latvia
Lithuania
Perhaps, for a change, you could let the facts get in the way of your throwaway comments instead of the other way round.
it seems that the right wing papers have forgotten why people voted for brexit and concentrate their argument on 'you lost, now pay up'.In the Telegraph
Brexit latest news: Boris Johnson says Parliament 'must stand aside or face day of reckoning' and accuses Jeremy Corbyn of 'running scared'
Why is that man still in office?
And this
Boris's stubborn refusal to give up on Brexit is making him a hero of the people
This is preaching that the end justifies the means, and extremely divisive, when the population is so divided on the issue
irresponsible hardly describes this sort of journalism that encourages flouting the law.
Labour are using situation to foister policies nobody wants upon us, thinking rather perversely that tories are so bad they can go more extreme. Trouble is they are simply keeping tories in power so fools like Bojo actually look acceptable.Labour’s policy of total and absolute freedom of movement of people extended to anywhere in the world has slipped under the radar. immediate granting of voting rights, benefits, access to a massively overstretched health service, crumbling education system and chronic housing shortages. Oh, and no background checks for criminal behaviour either.
This comes on top of them wanting to confiscate all private schools and their assets, houses belong to private individuals and people’s share investments.
If you think this isn’t a plan for a U.K. communist theme park, then there is something wrong with you.
Pass me the voting slip with BoJo’s name on it. I’ll just have to hold my nose and put a cross next to his name. What a dreadful situation we are in, utterly dreadful.
Totally agree. I trust the EU with my future far more than the retards in Westminster.Labour are using situation to foister policies nobody wants upon us, thinking rather perversely that tories are so bad they can go more extreme. Why cant we just have a moderate realistic opposition. Our politics has had a nervous breakdown, polarising itself further and further apart with no one actually representing the vast majority of us.
Tories have lost the plot but labour have lost it even more.
They are actually making EU look more acceptable.
I, m beginning to think close Westminster, sack them all and hand power to Junkers.
Having seen how they have ALL behaved in last 3 years I cant help but agree. Its shown both them and the system allowing it to be not fit for purpose. Its a disgrace for us all.Totally agree. I trust the EU with my future far more than the retards in Westminster.
The EU isn’t perfect, but at this moment in time, it’s the best place for us.

Errr.. So you, d vote Corbyn?? Because, I, m afraid he no longer represents labour. Its Marxism.Lol.
Like you would need to hold your nose. You would vote Tory even if Gandhi was on the ballot paper with JFK and Mandela were his running mates.
We get you. You're a Tory.
He doesn’t know what he’s going to do until he gets the voting pencil in his paw. He just functions on impulse at any given moment in time.Errr.. So you, d vote Corbyn?? Because, I, m afraid he no longer represents labour. Its Marxism.
I would have to.Errr.. So you, d vote Corbyn?? Because, I, m afraid he no longer represents labour. Its Marxism.
I quite agree, but the purpose of my post was to point out the usual inaccuracy and ignorance of facts by our adolescent contributor.Looking at that list, I’m not sure it’s a very flattering endorsement for Scotland.

Some people say, and I couldn't possibly comment, that Scotland's poor performance with regards to life expectancy is part of the Union dividend.
Although English, albeit with a half Scottish mother, I've actually stayed in the Gorbals back in the early 1950s.You have to understand wheels that my grandfather was born in the gorbals.
It doesn't have to be Corbyn or Johnson, there is a Lib-Dem party.Errr.. So you, d vote Corbyn??
