I am shocked by this, shocked I say

How dare they?

The last part demonstrates the terrible problems leakers can cause
"
However, not everyone in Buckingham Palace agreed that giving Boris Johnson free rein to do what he wants was a good move in the long run. Speaking off the record, a palace insider known only as C expressed grave doubts about the Queen’s actions.

“Typical of her. This is is going to kickstart a republican movement just when she is on her way out. And who is going to have to deal with the backlash? Muggins here, that’s who!”

Looks like the real Project Fear is within the government, especially affecting female advisors.
Demonic Cummings will prove the straw that broke the camel's back, he's a poisonous individual.
I look forward to seeing how long he reigns before getting the chop

So there is to be a get ready campaign for Brexit?

Why? the Government's job is to preserve the smooth running of the nation.
Not to create problems for it.
If it can't do that, then it should resign, they were not elected to work against the best interests of the public, in pursuit of some mad experiment.
Nor did the referendum victory give them a mandate to do so.
Anything less than no trouble at all is unacceptable, and that is what was promised to the people who voted leave

I so agree.

But, if we do need to get ready, let us have the information in order to do so. Finding out that a campaign is going to be run doesn't actually help any of us to get ready, does it?

Delaying publication in order to conform with some "launch" is madness.

The obvious way of doing things would have been to make all the information available on a website. Mention the link to a few journos, on twitter, etc. We could already have read it. (And gone out panic shopping... :) )

How to present defeat as a victory
In the Telegraph
EU 'wants to extend Article 50 to avoid no deal Brexit' as Eurosceptics say Brussels cracking under pressure

Ha ha ha ha ha
What happened to "Do or die on Oct 31?"

Boris is folding as expected...

"

The EU wants to extend Article 50 to avoid a no deal Brexit, it has emerged, as Eurosceptic MPs said Brussels was starting to crack under the pressure applied by Boris Johnson.
Emmanuel Macron was said to be ready to “withdraw” the October 31 deadline, and the European Commission said another extension was “obviously a possibility” in a clear softening of its position ahead of intensive negotiations next week.
The EU believes that by offering an extension it will undermine Mr Johnson’s argument that Brexit has to happen in two months’ time “deal or no deal”, but Brexiteers cited the news as evidence that Brussels is starting to panic"
................................

I didn't know Oct 31 was "their deadline" it is always presented as ours, and they have previously been quite happy to grant extensions, haven't they?

Watch out for the "Our European Friends and partners need more time"
Farage will throw his rattle out of his pram!

Boris is looking like the "Hunchback of no 10" in these videos, is that because of the weight of responsibility?
Or more likely having a "Monkey" on his back, or indeed a mob of them?

they may want brexit but not many voters trust Bojo.
Apparently, he threatens all dissenting conservative backbenchers with deselection if they vote against him next week.

Brexit bombshell: Rebel Tory MPs will be AXED and deselected if they try and block no deal
BORIS JOHNSON will sack and deselect Conservative MPs who rebel and try and halt his push for a no deal Brexit.

BINGO! AS FINGERS WOULD CRY!
History repeats itself
Why not declare him PM for life?
Who needs democracy anyway

Doesnt that depend on how their constituents voted. Boris is trying to impose democracy.

Interesting graphic in the Daily Mail

Some interesting reactions 50% think Boris should quit if we don't leave on Oct 31
And even if we leave with a deal only 35% will feel joy and 38% fear.
And support Mays deal if backstop dropped..52%
And despite 52% thinking we will leave without a deal
The reaction to that isn't among the questions.. they got the wrong answer is my view...

Oh, come on now, that isn't his decision to make, is it? what nonsense is this? are Mp's now the personal property of the leader?
Come off it
Boris is bullying them

Not according to DM Woosh...???
I think that poll in the DM gave the conservatives 31%, Labour 24%, Libdems 21%, BXP 14%.
31% is not brilliant.
