Just listened to the reaction of the press over the Boris visit to Stormont, he seems to have made his usual mess of things on three counts
It was a waste of time and made him look what he actually is

- A dinner with the DUP excluding the other parties, which blew his "impartiallity" claim away.
- Pretending there is a "Technological" answer to the Irish border where none exists.
- Not allowing any questions from the media after the meeting.

Cocks up don't always become apparent immediately. He might have made many, about which we might find out in time. Or they might be hidden and hushed up.
Sorry I don't see it that way, the three visits he made to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland alienated all three.

Appearances matter if he wants to hold off Farage, otherwise his plan to run a GE will blow up in his face.
