Latest Com res poll

Fascinating!
51% is not good enough.
they should add an extra option 'A second referendum with all three options: no deal, current deal and remain', that may achieve best acceptable outcome.

the independent carried this
"
Three-quarters of voters think the government has spent too much time on Brexit

74 per cent think ministers have 'forgotten' about important domestic issues, poll finds

Presumably at least some of the 26% who thought otherwise breathed a sigh of relief comforting themselves with the thought they weren't ballsing up something new?
And it didn't seem to have done much harm, either?

Could this at last be something positive to come out of Brexit?
It follows we can manage most of the time without them, perhaps?

latest YouGov poll.
I wonder how the tough interview on Marr's show will affect Farage's party this week.

A good question, as I read somewhere that large numbers of the elderly do not have internet access and take no part in polls, which may skew the results.

Let's hope we never get the chance to see.
Diane Abbott successfully held office in the best London Government we've ever had, Ken Livingstone's very popular one.

As a history graduate her strengths are more philosophical, so not unsuited to the Home Office where any calculation is done by the civil service rather than the minister.

Rather better than Boris Johnson whose only visible qualification is an unofficial one in buffoonery. When asked a question in a media briefing which needed figures in the answer, Johnson said "it's far higher now at - - - - er, er, than it was at er, er, - - - - than it was before.

That was met with all the media present laughing, but it's Abbott who often gets targetted with arithmetical questions, not Johnson, very obvious media bias.

the problem is it's not what Abbott actually says, which is by and large are sensible things to say, she is getting slower and slower with age, she also tends to think aloud, making her look and sound like a child on the spectrum.

YouGov poll on EP election:
it seems that all tory for brexit voters have already decided to vote for Farage BXP.
that would make remainers win the EP poll (CHUK, Green, Libdems + 70% Lab + Con = 5+11+15+11+10 = 52 against BXP + 30% Labour = 34 + 4 = 38, overall 52/38 for remain).

Whilst there's some truth in that, I'd rather a politician takes time to carefully consider issues than give slick avoiding answers to the media.

She is a true socialist at heart and far more capable in that caring capacity than most realise. That's why her constituency makes her seat so safe, winning a record 75% of the entire vote at the last election.

I have watched Diane Abbot on numerous occasions and numerous subjects (not just maths) and I have come to the conclusion that she is as thick as mince.

That would make sense then. She logs on as incognito so that she can leave thumbs down symbols that nobody can see. Right!
why do you insist on calling robdon a she?

Diane Abbott was in fine form for many years (about 12 years, 2003-2015) when she was a regular part of the BBC This Week team sitting next to Portillo.
Her performance declined ever since. Maybe why she did not appear much on it since 2015.

What about the rest of the UK?
