at least they are consistent.
They see Brussels as a giant gravy train, turn up when you want, claim back all your expenses, good pay and a very generous pension scheme.
so why not jump on.
Isnt that the case with all MEPs?

no, 4 out of 5 MEPs do contribute to make better laws instead of leaving it to the Commission and their directives.
Farage and his group want to dismantle the EU, they don't want to make EU laws, therefore they don't sit in regular sessions.
A bit like SF MPs don't take their seats at the HoC.

I agree but that could mean remain win with a lot less than 17.4 million votes. Making the result look like a farce.
that's the agenda
It will look bad for Leave whichever way it's decided for the ballot paper choices in any second referendum.

Either Leavers boycotting in protest with No Deal excluded, many of them already saying they'll never vote again; or the Leave vote split by two leave choices being included.

But will parliament agree to a second referendum with No Deal on the ballot paper, given their overwhelming opposition to No Deal?
they will have to include it in some form.
I would prefer voters have two choices out of the three. Some will tick just 1.

From the Independent

Brexit Party opens up ominous 15-point poll lead over Tories – and receives £200,000 gift from one of their former donors

Long-standing Conservative backer and multimillionaire Jeremy Hosking unmasked as one of Brexit Party's mystery donors

My goodness It's amazing how keen on protecting offshore assets from the EU some people are!
And the dumb working class Brexiteers don't see what is behind their largesse.

Here' the latest poll tracker from the BBC

It will be interesting to see where this goes
I assume Corbyn imagines he is doing well enough without risking the offer of another referendum.
What would put the cat among the pigeons is if he agrees with TM's deal on Brexit on condition of offering one!
The Brexit party is after all a paper tiger with nothing to offer but to act as a protest vote, other than that they have no power over events, after all they can't actually achieve anything their Election notice promised.

exactly why there should not be a second ref. It is just a means to manipulate the vote and overturn the original democratic result

Democratic result? really? who are you kidding, it was fixed, and everyone knows that, but the leave camp pretend not to, as there's money to be made out of this mad idea of Brexit.
Using Military grade psi ops techniques to motivate the most vulnerable to suggestion because you have stolen their data, isn't democratic by even the wildest stretch of the imagination.
It's criminal.

Dear oh dear. Losing really has warped your ability to think rationally. There was nothing 'fixed'. We wanted out. We won the argument. Take back control.

You ain't seen nothing yet.

I remember Farage saying he was going to pull the Tory party apart limb by limb. He's actually doing it. And he's going to do it to the Labour party too. What a time to be alive.

From the Telegraph:

The Brexit Party has overtaken the Conservatives in national polling for the first time, with Nigel Farage predicted to win 49 seats in a general election, a bombshell poll reveals.

A ComRes survey found that if a general election campaign led by Theresa May took place now, it would put the Tories on course for their worst result in history – apparently confirming the fears of Conservative MPs and activists in uproar over the Prime Minister’s handling of Brexit.

Labour would become the largest party by a margin of 137 seats, allowing Jeremy Corbyn to lead a minority government as the Tories fell to third place in terms of vote share.

Brandon Lewis, the party chairman, Penny Mordaunt, the Defence Secretary, and Matt Hancock, the Health Secretary, would be among 46 Tories to lose their seats to the Brexit Party, just one month after its launch, according to predictions based on the poll commissioned by Brexit Express.

Boris Johnson, Iain Duncan Smith and Sir Graham Brady, the chairman of the 1922 committee, would be ousted by Labour, with the Tories retaining support from less than half of those who voted for them in 2017.

we should really separate the EP vote from the next GE, but for argument sake, if Farage manages to build a proper party with a program for government, he would have taken about half of the conservative voters and about 20% of the Labour voters.
There will then be a general alignment, the two main parties will be for remain and the brexit party will be for brexit.
Remain will form the next government and brexit will be delayed or cancelled. I doubt that Farage will have more than 10-15 MPs. As soon as he has a manifesto, most of Labour voters who may vote for him in the EP will go back voting for Labour.
