Which is putting it mildly! This is what Google thinks:
"The Adam Smith Institute is a free market, neoliberal think tank based in London. It advocates classically liberal public policies to create a richer, freer world."
This is what the institute itself says:
"Individuals with left-wing and liberal views are overrepresented in British academia. Those with right-wing and conservative views are correspondingly underrepresented."
So it seems they are right wing biased for balance, in their view of course.
.
Cue the Adam Smith institute....and all the other squalid right wing so called think tanks. The last line it telling:
"... this is what organisations do when they are in the grip of ideological fervour - they can’t simply let you disagree, they have to destroy you."
Very true!My take: it seems to me pretty clear that Corbyn is trying to keep as many Labour supporters as he can. And a promise to have another vote is going to cause all sorts of trouble with that.
Remember in order to implement his socialist paradise he really wants us as far away from EU regulations as possible.
Not true, Fascist are here allright , here they are called the Conservative Party, they happily use economic policies that harm their own people after pouring money elsewhere, reduce the country to living as a betting shop and happily oversee policies that give results like thisNow you're getting the hang of it.
Wouldn't that be yet one more reason to remain then?Remember in order to implement his socialist paradise he really wants us as far away from EU regulations as possible.
I think if you do your research a little bit more thoroughly you will find the AS Ins greatly encourages discourse.Cue the Adam Smith institute....and all the other squalid right wing so called think tanks.
Huh? Remain means you're completely tied into EU regulations. The ones he particularly wants away from are the ones on what the EU terms 'unfair competition' - where a country supports one particular industry and prevents others (from within the EU) competing with that industry (not that this seems to apply to French farmers or Italian clothing manufacturers but no matter).Wouldn't that be yet one more reason to remain then?
That fence must be jolly uncomfortable by now..Labour will support a second referendum 'under certain circumstances'.
It seems to me that they have already made a deal with TM.
We are proceeding slowly toward brexit with confirmatory vote.
Actually in the case of both "Free speech" is better described as lies and propaganda.I think if you do your research a little bit more thoroughly you will find the AS Ins greatly encourages discourse.
i.e. Apart from free markets it is also a strong proponent of free speech.
Unlike its counterparts on the left.
Well at least it negates the argument over inheritance tax.Care homes are making fortunes for owners. Its a disgrace.
no, JC wants us to keep our regulations aligned to the single market.Remember in order to implement his socialist paradise he really wants us as far away from EU regulations as possible.
there is a grain of truth in that. This needs no comment from me. Perfectly self explanatory of Labour party at moment.
I agree and realise all that Woosh but the simple version is that if Labour were united under a remain policy they could utilise the situation to get into power, rather than attempt to cater for everybody and get power down the line. However, the very serious flaw in my reasoning is JC.. Firstly he is actually a leaver and has not supported EU in his entire career and secondly his policies are a nightmare in my subjective view and more importantly in eyes of middle England. I trully believe JC is keeping Labour out of power.there is a grain of truth in that.
whatever happens to brexit, hard, soft or none, the division will run and run. If the conservatives remain in power after 2020, brexit has to happen and continue to divide the country because polls still put remain ahead. Brexit will increase that lead even further.
The reverse will still be true. If Labour wins, brexit will probably be cancelled, the clamour for a third referendum can only increase.
