No party can represent both sides in a digital decision. Its an impossibility. They must agree on in or out.
This time parties are irrelevant.
The vast majority of MPs in our parliament are agreed, we should remain in the EU. As a parliamentary democracy and not a referenda one, we should scrap the referendum result and get back to governing the country in the normal way.
And government should be honest with the people about this, pointing out that referenda have been a disaster, dividing the country in the worst of ways each time, whether the 1975 or the 2016 ones.
If the people really do want to leave the EU in our democracy, the right way is to form a party with that objective at its core and stand for election to do it. But of course that has already been done by UKIP, and they failed.
That is why we should remain in the EU, the Leave inclined people showed by not backing UKIP, the true Leave party, that they don't have sufficient belief in leaving the EU.
They had their chance in our democratic system and they blew it.
