Brexit campaign group http://Leave.EU 's Facebook videos have become some of the first to be removed by the social network as part of a crackdown on political "dark ads"

Now why should that have happened?
Fionna O'Leary then said:

ALL parties and ALL news channels should be required to be scrupulous in telling the truth and misrepresenting statistics.

Shouldn't there be a NOT in there? :)

This is hilarious
After being banned for not revealing who funds it, Leave EU dares to ask the Official Conservative Government if it is spending Conservative Member' money on this?

Leave.EU‏Verified account @LeaveEUOfficial

Tories post literally hundreds of Facebook ads in a desperate attempt to flog May's Brexit deal to the country. a) Where did you find the actors? b) Care to tell us whether Conservative members' fees are being spent on this monstrosity? @CCHQPress @ConHom #BlueWave

Since when did leave.EU give a Tinkers Cuss about where funds come from?
Or the Stooges they use come to that!:p

I see that someone I’ve never heard of has resigned from a job that I never knew existed in Theresa May’s government. Sam Gyimah sounds more like an opening batsman for Sri Lanka than a man in charge of science.

With an education and background in politics & banking he must have had his finger on the pulse concerning all that science and stuff :) Another “quota” appointment no doubt, another shambles for sure. It would have been fun and entertaining to see him stay on and oversee Britain’s independent “space alien rocket” programme. The one which will rival Russia, China, USA and the EU. FFS.

Any more to come?

Sam Gyimah resigns over Theresa May's Brexit deal

Universities minister quits and pledges to vote against PM’s proposal in parliament

Apparently to do with Galileo. Will the next one be something to do with Figaro? We are clearly well into the Thunderbolt and lightning, Very, very frightening me. phase.

[Added]
Apparently Figaro says in The Barber of Seville: "I must force myself to laugh at everything lest I be obliged to weep." Which is rather how I often feel when I click the Funny icon on this thread.

Funny how they thought it fine to make the offers in the first place... Then, when one newspaper asks a few questions, they try to distance themselves.

Rightwing thinktank deletes offer of access to ministers for donors
Adam Smith Institute offered £1,000 donors invites to ‘power lunches and patrons dinners’

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/dec/01/rightwing-thinktank-deletes-offer-of-access-to-ministers-for-donors

Down the page it says: The regulator, the Charity Commission, said on Friday that it had started examining the institute’s accounts for “potential areas of non-compliance” with accounting rules. It is the second rightwing thinktank whose conduct is being examined by the commission for possible breaches of the rules.

When will this tragi comedy end. An ex doctor politician telling a central bank head he got his sums wrong. There is no factual basis for substantial upside if no deal or any deal. How come senior minister allowed to mislead on national radio?

In other amusing news I hear that Labour’s shadow International Development Secretary, Kate Osamar has been involved in a fracas with a reporter.

Osamar’s drug scum son who is employed inside the HoC has recently been convicted of possessing £2500 worth of gear (Ilegal drugs) at a music festival (more than enough for dealing rather than personal use). Osamar had told the HoC she knew nothing of the offence. Funny then how a letter written by her to the trial judge has emerged. A letter demanding leniency for her son.

When The Shadow International Development Secretary was asked to explain the above, she threw water over the person asking the question and threatened to smash his face in with a baseball bat. Will she keep her job? With a name like Osamar, you can guarantee it.

I think it needs explaining to individuals such as Labour’s International Development Secretary, that they can’t import their uncivilised animal like behaviour into the U.K. It may be acceptable in Shithole where her roots are founded, but it’s certainly not acceptable over here at the heart of U.K. politics.

What an alternative to TM’s deal we face. The prospect of a Labour government. It makes me want to back TM, but I can’t. I can never remember such a desperate time in politics.

Tilson i find this posting obnoxious for a number of reasons.
1. Its racist undertones are not even disguised.
2. I assume she is an MP ,..i am not bothered to confirm,. She deserves some level of respect,if not for herself ,but for her mandate.
3. Have you confirmed that she was in fact born outside the UK.
4. Have you confirmed that at the time she allegedly misinformed the HoC ,that she was aware that an offense had been committed by her son.
5. Have you determined the circumstances under which she allegedly assaulted this reporter. A species of human who is not generally recognised as being sensitive to the feelings of others and who may invade the privacy of others. Unless the circumstances were repeated in a court case for assault by her on the reporter, they have no standing, and your statement is potentially slanderous. And if they were, there are certainly extenuating circumstances. .
The reaction of was it John Prescott? in thumping a protestor who threw something at him was an instinctive reaction .. which i understand.Did you write about it?.

Come on then... explain this remark......carefully.........
She’s from an ethnic minority background and as such will benefit from positive discrimination. It does go on. In this instance the incident will be overlooked because of her ethnicity.

Contrast the reaction if say Hilary Benn had thrown water over a reporter and threatened to smash his face in with a baseball bat. Would it have been so low key? Would he have kept his job?

Because Hilary Benn isn’t black, isn’t a woman and doesn’t have parents from Nigeria, he would have been treated more severely.

I’m pleased you find it racist, which means in the real world that it probably isn’t.

She deserves no respect whatsoever.

She was born in the U.K. to Nigerian parents who clearly failed to include civilised behaviour into her upbringing.

She lied to the HoC

A reporter asked her a legitimate question on behalf of the public.

She reacted like some sort of wild animal.

She should go, but that won’t happen.

The irony of this graphic isn't whether it is Fake or not, oh no !
Only that no matter how many of the Public don't want Brexit
It will be shoved down their throats anyway, and nobody in Parliament gives a toss.
And what shape Brexit will take is a complete mystery.

That still leaves
"that they can’t import their uncivilised animal like behaviour into the U.K."
requiring explanation, doesn't it?

Her behaviour was uncivilised and she conducted herself like an untamed animal. Unacceptable.

I think you are questioning Tillson's use of "import" into Britain?

Obviously it was her threatening the reporter with being hit with a baseball bat, very American behaviour.

A true Briton would do the decent thing and threaten to use a cricket bat.
