In the Dail Express
"Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said in February that Britain should consider joining military action against Assad's regime if there is fresh "incontrovertible" evidence he has used chemical weapons against his own people."

Oxymoron Warning:Oxymoron Warning:Oxymoron Warning:

Boris and "incontrovertible evidence" in the same sentence.
Come on Boris you can't let evidence get in the way of a profitable little war over a trivial thing like "incontrovertible evidence"

Glory be!
"I do not accept the great-power chauvinism fanned by the regime of Kremlin-Lubyanka thieves and killers"

Doesn't that strike you as about the most unlikely utterance for a normal human being who is not , or was not an agent of some clandestine organisation to make?

It isn't of course, it's an utterance from one proud to work for the USSR, and so morally degraded as to be involved in creating these Evil weapons designed to cause death and suffering.

And now he has turned traitor to the vows of secrecy he took to his nation.
What is the word of an example of Human Moral perversion like that worth?

And he sees no hypocrisy in calling others "Thieves and Killers"
What the heck does that make him?
This guy was obviously a disappointed Communist with a turn of phrase typical of that era, he has nearly as impartial view of Putin as you have Zlatan!

Great fun of course, but irrelevent, as he has contributed nothing other than an attitude like yours.
"Holiday home on the Black Sea" would rather suggest another Russian Oligarc at odds with the failure of the USSR.

I,m not judging him one way or other OG. Merely posting what I thought an interesting outburst.
It is rather hypocritical of a bloke partially responsible for about the deadliest substance on planet to be labelling anyone killers. ( Samuel Colt used to claim to have made men equal ??) So perhas he doesn't quite see it like most.
Noticed Yulia has been discharged today..probably spending her £150k as we post..!!!

"As a Russian citizen, I do not accept the great-power chauvinism fanned by the regime of Kremlin-Lubyanka thieves and killers, and therefore fully understand and support the policy of the British government towards Russia,” Mr Uglev said
Certainly shows how grossly biased he was in his being "convinced" about the material used and who used it.

As you post, what is going on? Maybe he's already in touch with British officials and hoping to be admitted to Britain with a nice pension for being so useful at this critical time.

Mr Uglev has gone a little further in his comments today..

Full report in The Times.. apparently he,s emailed them from his holiday home on the Black Sea !? He must have a death wish ??
He,s not much time for Putin, I,ll bet Putin might find some for him ? Or WTF is going on ?
his command of the English language is of extremely high standard, certainly way better than mine.
That says something about Russian education.
Alternatively, the email is written by someone who is schooled here.

But his turn of phrase is classic old style Stalin period propaganda, perhaps intended to add a fake "authenticity"?
By now the people behind this part of the plot must think we are daft enough to fall for anything , no matter how poorly presented and implausible.

The Brexit smoekescreen continues in the Telegraph
"
Theresa May gives strong signal she could back military intervention in Syria, after call with Donald Trump

Does she really think this will make her popular?
And this foolish piece

It's make or break time for Britain: We must show America that we're still its closest ally
Con Coughlin

Why? are they hoping for three things?
  1. It will make TM popular
  2. It will divert attention from the Brexit mess being made
  3. The Americans will rescue Holy Brexit with lots of Chlorinated Chickens and other Hormone and Chemical containated food on the cheap?

From the Guardian
"Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook chief executive, warned on Tuesday of an online propaganda “arms race” with Russia and vowed that fighting interference in elections around the world is now his top priority."

After reviewing the comments section of the Daily Fail, even their readership seem to be generally opposed to any U.K. intervention in Syria. I doubt this will stop her quest for strength & stability, and the opportunity to appear Thatcheresque will prove to be irresistible.

She does indeed seem determined to earn the title worst Prime Minister ever.
How on Earth can we expect to benefit from getting involved in this Syria mess?

Seems his Tonyness is on his war horse again. He,s the one telling all and sundry we should be backing US and going to war against Syria.( does he never learn) May it appears is having second ( hopefully better) thoughts. In mean time Putin has said he,ll shoot down any missiles fired at Syria..

And apparently Yulia Scripal is receiving 24 hr ( UK) armed guard and ( alledgedly) refused any Russian help or even to see them ?

There is as good a reason as you will ever come across not to get involved in the Syrian conflict. That man should be in prison nursing an ass-hole the size of a clown's pocket.

and I doubt she will be allowed to see the British public again either. Her, her father, the missing policeman and disappearing cat, any one of them could blow the lid of the entire shambles.

Could be ??? We,ll probably know more when findings are published...if they are that is..
His Tonyness got a peace award ( or some such thing) ...for a war criminal that's quite clever.

Remember what I said back in post 29618:

However, I believe Putin would face them down over Syria. He isn't going to just give up his one position of strength in the Middle East. He's shown himself to be a master of the high stakes game and could scare the West over this issue if they push too far.

Putin has just said that Russia will shoot down any incoming missiles into Syria if the West try it, as the US did last time they accused Syria of using chemical weapons.

About time we stopped randomly accusing Russia and Syria of acts we have no idea who carried out, or be prepared for World War 3.
