Its a BBC model B isn't it ?
does not look like a BBC model B and don't knock it, the BBC micro project turned literally thousands of high school students into star programmers. At that time (1982-1983), I employed 25+ people in Southend to make add-ons for it.

Witness could mean "I was at <location> and did not see <xxx>." It might be an important component of the evidence when used to build up a complete picture.
Ah!
All together now
None of us were there and we didn't see anything or keel over in a coma.

That should be enough evidence to clinch Putin's Guilt!

I sure as hell wouldn't want her job ever, but especially so at moment.
You seem to have all the Qualifications for if to me:confused:
By the way it's not nice to have Voted to create the situation that catapulted her into the job then feel sorry for her.
She deserves all that's coming to her.
We remainers didn't!
"Behold the Monster You've created !"

I watched the 'brexit panel' on BBC News about half an hour ago.
Half of the panelists still don't know why we could not just say goodbye to the EU and leave!
What's wrong with the BBC? I would have thought by now everyone interested in the subject would have grasped the meaning of Article 50.

.
the ZX81 made millions for Sinclair, the BBC miicro made may be a billion for Herman Hauser.
Still, I bought last week an Omega 2 for £7. If you don't know what it is, I don't blame you. It's a million times more powerful than the BBC micros and just as easy to program.

The model T made a bob or two for old Henry...I,d guess a Model T is nearer a mondeo than Model B is to your Omega 2...
That's progress for you...Mind you one great big EMP from Putin or Kim Jong and we,d all be wanting that old Model T...and a slide rule...

I,ve just been rebuilding my old trials bike. Its a 1967 Cotton with a Villiers engine. Its really made me wonder how points ever worked..and I do remember there was a feeling that electronics would never replace them...how wrong we were.

I watched the same programme,it was a good spread of people, bright and less so,old and young,Leaver and Remainer.
The common thread was that none of them really understood why we were Brexiting, why we couldn’t just leave, what had been achieved.
Some thought that Boris’s promise of more money for everything would still happen, especially for the NHS.....not sure how Brexit is going to make us richer?
But not one person mentioned what we are going to do if Brexit makes us poorer,it seems as a nation we are blind to the downside.....I hope it is a success but what will Leavers do if they start losing their jobs or deletion of benefits or lack of staff in hospitals? Is there a word Leavermoan?

the common thread is brexit means change and change means hope.
if there is a price to pay, then it is still acceptable because it gives the leave voters some hope that things will change.
whether change will be for the better, it depends very much on the next general election. I have faith in a coalition government.

Really?
My Goodness! many thanks I am truly Flattered but alas I have to be honest and say I haven't a clue how I did so.

that reminds me of the old joke where the you man finds his lonely old Grandfather's house empty and traces him to one of the cells of the local police station.
"What are you in for?" he asks.
"Rape!" exclaims his Grandfather.
"Impossible!" retorts his Grandson, "After your prostate op you've been impotent for years!"
Eventually he cools down enough to ask for an Explanation.
"Well it's like this " his Grandad sighs.
"I was pointed out in an identity parade by this gorgeous young woman. "That's the man! she cried, pointing me out!"
"So what?" shouts his Grandson. "What happened then?"
Grandad heaved a sigh....."I was too proud to deny it.";)

Some hope of that!
You would be safer sitting on a Fire ants net wearing a traditional kilt than expecting that.

Alas the last time we had an effective coalition Government some of us were wearing nappies.

"if you are doing quite nicely, vote for a better life for the others"
People who pay the higher tax rate do it already.
That's what JC fails to acknowledge.

Thanks to the AAV web blog for providing this lovely observation from Irving Welsh:

View attachment 24016

I rather like that sentiment and it reflects human decency - tories won't understand!

Tom
That will be Irvine Welsh the ex heroin addict who made his fortune writing a story glorifying its use ?( He wrote Trainspotting)
You chose some nice role models Tom.

But then again, to quote Irvine Welsh himself,
"Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?"

It is a brilliant film and to be fair shows highs and lows of heroin addiction. ( Danny Boyle directed it)

And BTW Irvine Welsh now lives in Chicago and had this to say in a recent interview.
"How much property do you own?

My main residence is in Chicago. My wife, Elizabeth, and I bought it for about £1m six years ago and we’ve spent £250,000 doing it up. It’s probably worth £2m now. I also have a place in Miami and a nice flat in Edinburgh, plus a few rental properties.

Do you invest in shares?

Yes, although that’s mainly my wife’s influence. She spends hours studying the market . I just gape into space. We put most of our cash into low-return but relatively safe industries such as brickworks and biscuit-making, build up the stake and then take a punt on a higher yield but more volatile blue-chip firm."

He then posts on AAV ??? Quite a socialist.

The zx81 was never great, it was an interesting diversion, less power and useful than a pic let alone an arduino The spectrum was a workable machine. On the other hand, and it is before my time, the model T was great
