The whole government is becoming a nursery free for all for any loose cannon that's rattling about. The question is, what is worse, this government, or no government. Or are we there already ?View attachment 22574

I suspect that the best plan would be to opt for a Full year with no government , locking them out of the Palace of Westminster, then we should be in a position to notice whether they are missed or not.The whole government is becoming a nursery free for all for any loose cannon that's rattling about. The question is, what is worse, this government, or no government. Or are we there already ?
Wrong question, I'd say 'SHAN'.The question is, what is worse, this government, or no government.
More good news. This Brexit thing just keeps getting better and better:
(from the TImes today)
"The UK has joined Germany as the fastest-growing advanced economy in 2016 after a last-minute revision to official figures in a development that some might refer to as akin to scoring a goal in extra time.
The Office for National Statistics has revealed that the UK economy expanded by more than it originally estimated in 2016 owing to better growth in the final two quarters. This meant that the economy grew by 1.9 per cent rather than the previous estimate of 1.8 per cent.
The revision means that Britain was the fastest-growing advanced economy in the world alongside Germany, where growth was also 1.9 per cent. The US and Canada grew by 1.5 per cent, France by 1.1 and Italy and Japan by 1 per cent.
Ian Stewart, chief economist at Deloitte, said: “The UK’s performance has been rather better than the gloomy talk would suggest. Growth has come in stronger than expected a year ago and the pace of activity has edged up since July. Talk of an end to UK growth has been somewhat exaggerated.” "[/
That's a very selected list, try looking at what the ONS said about inflation, balance of trade and effects of EU migrants going home. This passport seems more appropriate than that envisaged by the government:

To be in keeping with May's soundbites, shouldn't that be a 'red, white and blue' passport colour. This passport seems more appropriate than that envisaged by the government:

As soon as we're properly out of the EU and the madness of the EU agricultural tariffs - we can start doing what's best for the consumer - which means cheaper meat and a tonne of other cheaper foods. And don't buy the crap about Chlorine being a problem - we've been putting it in our water for decades. When I see the weekly food bill getting less, and income increasing, I'll believe this.
Yes. I completely agree. That's correct. We know from the officer that the images were not illegal. We know from Green giving away the computer that it was his own and he could properly have his personal material on it. We know that there is no proof or even the faintest indication that he ever accessed his personal information while in parliament, not that it would be a crime anyway.
So Green was not an offender at the time of the discovery, but the police officer and his very senior ex officer are offenders since they illegally disclosed and continue to publicise private and personal information.
I'm pleased that this breach of privacy has been referred to the Information Commisioner and hope the officers are prosecuted and punished in due course.

I've had my 04 Mini Cooper 1.6 auto, sunroof, cruise, 17" super-sexy wheels for 4 years now. Cost me £4000. Now worth maybe £3000. Totally reliable. Fast enough especially if you put it into sport mode. Low insurance. Etc. Stupid EU rules means I can't drive it in Paris though. Maybe the French should get out of the EU too - I quite fancy driving down the Champs-Elysees.I'm sure that is only a small part of the story, many areas of retail have been struggling and PCP is creating a new car buying problem as the earlier deals end and the true PCP cost is revealed.
I'm a contributor to the drop in car sales. I used to change them frequently, the previous one just short of three years with me and two years wasn't unusual, but the present one I've had nearly seven years now and don't intend changing it. I've always bought for cash and can afford another one or two cars, but with the uncertainties due to Brexit I'm keeping the capital.

Trump has been absolutely brilliant - more than anybody could possibly have hoped for. The cognitive dissonance experience by all the namby-pamby liberal-progressives - when everything they thought was proved wrong - is even worse than the Remainers who still think they have a hope in hell of stopping the freight train that is the UK leaving the EU. This is SUCH a great time to be alive - politics is finally interesting.
I don't think any Remainer thought they'd stop Brexit by their own actions. What they and I believed and still believe is that there's a faint possibility of it stopping itself, but most likely that what we'll end up with won't be anything like a true Brexit.the Remainers who still think they have a hope in hell of stopping the freight train that is the UK leaving the EU.
But it was our membership of the EU and its rules that made it possible for your German BMW designed car to be built in England from pan European parts.I've had my 04 Mini Cooper 1.6 auto, sunroof, cruise, 17" super-sexy wheels for 4 years now. .. not eu laws , but local french laws aimed at reducing poison in the air. Ho of course, what right have the french to make laws that impede an englishman in paris..? ..what was I thinking!I've had my 04 Mini Cooper 1.6 auto, sunroof, cruise, 17" super-sexy wheels for 4 years now.
