The whole government is becoming a nursery free for all for any loose cannon that's rattling about. The question is, what is worse, this government, or no government. Or are we there already ?
I suspect that the best plan would be to opt for a Full year with no government , locking them out of the Palace of Westminster, then we should be in a position to notice whether they are missed or not.

You have to wonder what possible reason was there to send Boris to Moscow?
It was presumably May's intention for him to make a fool of himself as usual.
Boris however is setting out to prove two things
  1. He's strong enough to take on the Russians
  2. Even though his side would have benefited from any possible Russian interference in the Referendum, it was nothing to do with him.
In the present insanity we exist in the Brexit Fans will love him for it!

The question is, what is worse, this government, or no government.
Wrong question, I'd say 'SHAN'.

We need rid of this lousy, corrupt gang of tax-avoiding multi-millionaires and we need to replace them with a socialist government. Jeremy Corbyn would end the persecution of the poorest sector of society, aka an austerity programme that only affects the poor, sick, the elderly and disabled while protecting the wealth expansion of the millionaire class.

Corbyn has effectively neutered the Blairite faction of career politicians within Labour and has enough support from his party and it now seems, the country, to introduce policies based on fairness that will bring about a
less disparate society than at present.

There is no other alternative to the current gang of thieves running the country based on mafia principles. They are waging a class war.

More good news. This Brexit thing just keeps getting better and better:

(from the TImes today)

"The UK has joined Germany as the fastest-growing advanced economy in 2016 after a last-minute revision to official figures in a development that some might refer to as akin to scoring a goal in extra time.

The Office for National Statistics has revealed that the UK economy expanded by more than it originally estimated in 2016 owing to better growth in the final two quarters. This meant that the economy grew by 1.9 per cent rather than the previous estimate of 1.8 per cent.

The revision means that Britain was the fastest-growing advanced economy in the world alongside Germany, where growth was also 1.9 per cent. The US and Canada grew by 1.5 per cent, France by 1.1 and Italy and Japan by 1 per cent.

Ian Stewart, chief economist at Deloitte, said: “The UK’s performance has been rather better than the gloomy talk would suggest. Growth has come in stronger than expected a year ago and the pace of activity has edged up since July. Talk of an end to UK growth has been somewhat exaggerated.” "[/
This passport seems more appropriate than that envisaged by the government:

Ok, Damian Green is out of the picture but another of May's promoted 'talents' has been exonerated of something that I feel sure would merit dismissal from any decent company............

A 19 year old woman applied for a job working in the office of the Tory MP Stephen Crabb, but was turned down.

The only reason Crabb had her phone number was because she applied for a job working for him.

He then proceeded to send her a load of sexually explicit texts.

This is not the first time he's been caught bombarding young women with smut (despite being married and posturing as a devout Christian in order to con the devout into voting for him and to provide cover for his homophobic attitudes).

The Tory party opened a investigation into his pervy behaviour but concluded that he's not really done anything wrong and cleared him of misconduct.

Is there anyone out there in the real world who thinks your employers would clear you of misconduct if you had been caught sending a load of smutty unsolicited messages to a young adult who had applied for a job where you work?

Once again it's a demonstration that there's one set of rules for the privileged elitists in the Westminster establishment club and another completely different and much stricter set of rules for the rest of us.

A lesser light and ex-Whip's office flunky, Chris Pincher, was also cleared by the committee on a separate charge, unconnected with Crabb. This is the gist of the complaint against him:

Tamworth MP Mr Pincher stood down from the whips' office and referred himself to the Tory complaints procedure following reports that he had been accused of making an unwanted pass at former Olympic rower and Conservative activist Alex Story.

They're all at it! It has been said frequently that power corrupts etc, but it seems sleaze and deviance are ingrained in the DNA of all the tory scum who aspire to power.

As if such matters are not serious enough, (remembering the Profumo affair in the '60s), 'The Skwawkbox' reveals this little nugget concerning the PM and her guests inside Downing St. Evidently, 'Sky' aired the story but the BBC has kept schtum about it....how odd.....not!

On the matter of 'Brexit' itself, some will remember the 'golden 'boy' (briefly) of the tory party, Chris Patten who got all the plum little jobs during his time under Thatcher and Major. He was for a time a European Commissioner so I was interested to hear what he had to say on the matter of 'Brexit' and the spurious claims about it returning sovereignty to the UK.

This is what he said:

Former British EU Commissioner Chris Patten, “A man, naked, hungry and alone in the middle of the Sahara Desert is free in the sense that no one can tell him what to do. He is sovereign, then. But he is also doomed.

That seems fairly clear-cut to me.

From the Telegraph
"
'Bad for democracy'Boris Johnson and Michael Gove attack HMRC over tax grab on Brexiteers
So the Millionaires are unhappy with the Propaganda Bill?
"Boris Johnson and Michael Gove have attacked HM Revenue and Customs on behalf of the "plucky individuals" who bankrolled Brexit and now face huge tax bill.
Has it turned out the money wasn't "Charitable Donations" and "Tax Deductable?)
All say "Ah! Diddums!"
One would have expected that these "Plucky Individuals" would have known all about the Tax laws, after all how did they become rich otherwise without knowing all the Tax dodges?

And exactly why does the fact they are Brexiteers entitle them to special treatment tax wise? as you can be sure HMRC are an "Equal opportunity" outfit!!

When I see the weekly food bill getting less, and income increasing, I'll believe this.
As soon as we're properly out of the EU and the madness of the EU agricultural tariffs - we can start doing what's best for the consumer - which means cheaper meat and a tonne of other cheaper foods. And don't buy the crap about Chlorine being a problem - we've been putting it in our water for decades.

That's correct. We know from the officer that the images were not illegal. We know from Green giving away the computer that it was his own and he could properly have his personal material on it. We know that there is no proof or even the faintest indication that he ever accessed his personal information while in parliament, not that it would be a crime anyway.

So Green was not an offender at the time of the discovery, but the police officer and his very senior ex officer are offenders since they illegally disclosed and continue to publicise private and personal information.

I'm pleased that this breach of privacy has been referred to the Information Commisioner and hope the officers are prosecuted and punished in due course.

I'm sure that is only a small part of the story, many areas of retail have been struggling and PCP is creating a new car buying problem as the earlier deals end and the true PCP cost is revealed.

I'm a contributor to the drop in car sales. I used to change them frequently, the previous one just short of three years with me and two years wasn't unusual, but the present one I've had nearly seven years now and don't intend changing it. I've always bought for cash and can afford another one or two cars, but with the uncertainties due to Brexit I'm keeping the capital.

I've had my 04 Mini Cooper 1.6 auto, sunroof, cruise, 17" super-sexy wheels for 4 years now. Cost me £4000. Now worth maybe £3000. Totally reliable. Fast enough especially if you put it into sport mode. Low insurance. Etc. Stupid EU rules means I can't drive it in Paris though. Maybe the French should get out of the EU too - I quite fancy driving down the Champs-Elysees.

Trump has been absolutely brilliant - more than anybody could possibly have hoped for. The cognitive dissonance experience by all the namby-pamby liberal-progressives - when everything they thought was proved wrong - is even worse than the Remainers who still think they have a hope in hell of stopping the freight train that is the UK leaving the EU. This is SUCH a great time to be alive - politics is finally interesting.

I don't think any Remainer thought they'd stop Brexit by their own actions. What they and I believed and still believe is that there's a faint possibility of it stopping itself, but most likely that what we'll end up with won't be anything like a true Brexit.

I believe we'll be tied into the EU and much of its regulations and legal machinery for several years to come, even decades. Indeed that is even being established into our UK law with the Great Repeal Bill.

But it was our membership of the EU and its rules that made it possible for your German BMW designed car to be built in England from pan European parts.

I'm not sure what you mean by the EU rules stopping you using it in Paris, possibly anti-pollution legislation? If so, that's increasingly arriving here in UK laws.
