    Front 3 sprocket crankset change

Went for this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175447969640?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=5Ae4Dns4QAG&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=QBnnCVhUSwu&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Cheap enough for what I need. My new front derailleur will only operate up to 48t. I've just fitted a new chain...

    Front 3 sprocket crankset change

I have a new Shimano derailleur, it's a 7 speed running on a 6 speed freewheel. I didn't think I could swap the 6 speed freewheel for a 7 speed? I have the smaller 3 sprockets set on the front unfortunately, so thought it would be better to swap for bigger set. I only really need the one...

    Front 3 sprocket crankset change

That's what I need. Do you buy one made or swap the sprockets only? @saneagle Don't think my 3 crack sprockets come apart. Looks like they are riveted together

    Front 3 sprocket crankset change

Front 250w hub and im peddling a bit fast at 19 to 20mph although no motor assistance at that. I was thinking if I can gear it up a bit, the ride will be a bit nicer with my leg speed. Think I'm missing the 7th gear at the back

    Front 3 sprocket crankset change

Is it possible to put larger 3 sprocket crankset on as an old mountain bike? Top gear is not high enough for me. Have a 6 speed rear freewheel and 3 speed front. Thanks

    Current yose kit build

This build is on a budget using what I have. Old tool bag zip tied to rack. Pops up nicely. Get loads in it. And when it rains or dark nights Oh, my garage is piled up from kit off my old van as it's for sale. I've shut my business. Current economic climate I'd had enough of it tbh. Going...

    Riding ebike in the rain

I seen those wenko covers on Amazon but was unsure if any good. I'll get the cling film out. What about battery?

    Riding ebike in the rain

Anyone bother with any ebike protection from rain? I was thinking of cling film around throttle and display as I think I'm going to get wet this week.

    Current yose kit build

It was £15 off eBay when I had no clue what I was buying. They have gone up in price I see. It's ok now I modified it but I doubt it would take 50kg as quoted in advert. Next one I get will be a Topeak. For now I have a plastic box I'll strap on to carry stuff.

    Current yose kit build

Update. Lowered rack. Removed end saddle mount and made a bracket and small bit of wooden ply to hold in place. Use one rivnut at bottom of rack. Couple of zip ties and Jobs iz a goodun. It's good enough and I'll feed some wires through for a rear light. Lots of tinkering for amusement tbh...

    Tyres which ones?

I have a MTB ebike. I'm running 26- 1.35 road tyres at 80psi with no suspension and its a hard ride! Road and cycle path mostly which in places is rough. I need a softer tide and will probably go for thicker Schwalbe tyres to cushion ride a bit. 26-2.0 tyre ok? What would be a good option? Not...

    Current yose kit build

Yes. I don't really need bag because I don't have much cable to tuck in. I carry a small tool kit in bag.

I'm looking at velcro options plus weekend job is to lower the rack. Tbh I'm not sure I need it

I'll modify it some how to lower the centre of gravity. I understand what you are saying.

@matthewslack I had to fit like it is as they are way too short to go any other way.

    Throttle hidden switch

You need to get in settings then hold down certain buttons. Then do a different combination of buttons and there you will find a setting to increase top speed. Look up on YouTube. You can increase to 40mpm however, 18mph is top speed I can get. Made me laugh when display has such a high top...

    Current yose kit build

Well I finished it. Bit of tinkering to do cutting cables as I don't have crimp ends, and I need to add rear lights and bell ect. But it's going. I think the rear rack looks terrible tbh. Maybe a bag over will help? Had my time again I don't think I'd of converted this old bike. Was not ideal...

Front light using power for rear lights?

I have a yose power kit that comes with a wired front light. Is it possible to use that to power a rear light? Was thinking of a two into one adapter? Guess most use a battery rear light.
