    350W BMS Battery legality problem

The thing is though, posession of a 350w motor, or a 500w motor or even a 5000w motor isn't illegal.

Final limit at 250 watts EU ruling

You'll have to prise mine out of my cold dead fingers - as that's the only way I'll be giving it up. :D

its not the size of your battery, but the size of your.....b++++++

I used to do that. Then I reaslised that as I got older I took longer to heal. 34 broken bones later you realise it's time to persue less dangerous sports. So I learnt how to snowboard (only broken both writs and one arm on that so far!).

    Winter Gloves

I think you want the impossible. You simply aren't going to get a slim glove that will also be warm in minus temperatures. Oh, and +1 on the Karrimor gloves - I use them as an underglove or just when I'm out and about and don't need a bulkier glove.

Ditto - and I've passed loads of Police cyclists on Blackpool prom and they've not even raised an eyebrow. Actually, thinking about it maybe they did want a word but they couldn't catch me to do so! ;) Yeah, I got mine from a chap on ebay for £4!

    charger for ZIPPY Flightmax 8000mAh 6S1P 30C

I have an iCharger 206b which I've been very happy with, graphing function is great :-) It's powered by a Meanwell NES-S350 15v power supply. I don't balance charge very often (in fact I only balanced my current pack when first constructed - it now has 60 cycles on it) and I bulk charge my...

What do you reckon this would cost to build

Two HS motors, £600, rims + spokes £100, controllers £250, enough lipo to power that £500, cabling + controls £100, torque arms + welding/epoxy £100. So about £1650 not inc labour or the base bike. Not that I'd ever build a bike like that for someone else to use. You'd want to use a good...

    ecrazyman controler

Why not just hook it up and try it? Wire the phases, spin the wheel a few times then try the throttle. You'll know for certain whether it works or not.

    Winter Tyres

I used those last year - thick ice and six in deep snow and they were REALLY good. In fact, almost unbelievably good - you'd swear they had spikes they were that good. If it gets above about 12c though they get super soft and rolling resistance increases dramatically so swap them out for...
