    I had an accident... AGAIN!!!!

Ad homien fallacy again. What's wrong with the post? Where am I wrong? Is there any part of my classical Greek debating style you do not comprehend? Stating "I can't be bothered" is an indication of someone who has lost an argument and can't intelligently construct reasonable rebuttals...

    I had an accident... AGAIN!!!!

This! Doing anything else would be akin to someone commiting burglrary then suing the houseowner for falling down the stairs in the dark. Also edited slightly as cwah's bike is clearly a cycle, not a moped. Just becuase there is no adeqate legal definition for a high powered electric...

    Problem with KU123 Controller

Cool - the 48v mode with a cut off at 35.5v would be ideal for 10s lipo.

    Food for thought

Oh I agree - kinda my point all along - legislation to protect the innocent from the actions of the reckless. Yup - given me a few spankings when I wasn't paying attention. I'm liking my rage for buggying - not the first choice for most but the pull is great. I don't like being "lofted"...

So do I! But it's irrelevant as I don't do 30mph past junctions (bike wont even do 30, hell it's not even specced for the "S" class limit) and even if I did the outcome would be pretty much the same whether I was riding a moped or a cycle so I don't see your point. Cool - I use a buggy as...

Great way for further your argument. Bravo sir, bravo.

Haha you're kidding right? I'd rather be on my bikes (esp the full susser with disc brakes) than some of the "legal" mopeds I've had the misfortune to ride!

Car driver charged with manslaughter over London cyclist death

You can die by banging your head on the floor whilst tripping over a kerb, so I don't think the speed is relevant. But reading the article it appears he swerved into the path of a bus. So I also feel sorry for the bus driver as well.

    Food for thought

Name calling again, bravo, bravo! You can call me many things and you'd be right but stupid would not be one of them. So you'll have to excuse me if I take no notice of a poster that resorts to an ad homien fallacy as an attempt to further their argument.

Erm' no it isn't. I've done pretty much exactly that with a capri and a 2.9l v6 cosworth engine making 250bhp. Passed its mot no probs every year.

Oh, and before the old "illegal ebikers will end up spoiling it for the rest of us" line is trotted out....... You don't see cars being banned everytime someone does 100mph up the m6 do you?

    Food for thought

I don't mind people religiously adhering to laws - even foolish or inappropriate ones (laws that is, not people - although that might still apply!). The kind of people I dislike are the ones that insist the same blind obedience should be demonstrated by others. All quotes that are...

    TV viewing tonight at 9pm

I wouldn't mind registration as long as it was free or proportional - i.e. £20 for combined registration and third party insurance cover for a year.

You mean the left? A pass point on the right would have you crossing traffic. Bad:- Good:- Surprise as to which country each is is.

    New Speedict Coming

I like Eneloops but they feel like a waste putting them in the kids toys so I keep them for my gadgets. Cheapest LSD batteries I've found a Uniross Hybrios - just ordered another 20 ready for the presents the kids will get at xmas!

Cost of winter/ice tyres killed it for me & why don't people help you when you fall?!

Economy of scale - they just don't sell many winter spec bike tyres.

    Another cyclist death this morning.

So are you saying they aren't already on the road? There is evidence to suggest incidences of driving whilst under the influence of cannabis would REDUCE if it were legalised.

    Another cyclist death this morning.

    Did I mention heroin/crack?

    Another cyclist death this morning.

Another thing that should be made legal (and regulated + taxed), but that's a discussion for another day.
