    Bike stand

Halfords being helpful? That's a first! Glad you are sorted out. Probably better off if it's a tight fit, it will secure the bike better and there will be less chance of dinting the cat:p

    Bike stand

Not sure which stand you are referring to. The stand that is said to be 7cm at posting #43 is a different one to the one we bought at #44. I have just measured mine and it's 5.3cm.

    Bike stand

Eddie, I can't believe you have only just noticed the typo. If you're on notifications the heading must have been in your inbox at least a dozen times with the typo in all it's glory. Hubby asked me what a bile stand was some days ago!

Do you mean like a jolly green one?:p

    Hello

I went into our local Halfords to look at a Carerra, their website showed it in stock at that store so I thought 'no problem'. When I got there, no sign of it so I asked one of the mumbos (sorry, members of staff) about it and he told me that they have one in stock but it's not on show and no...

    Avoiding canal or footpath conflict.

Must say, you'd get a frown off me. Most folk walking in the countryside want to be listening to the birdies singing, not someone else's music! I spied someone running the London Marathon this morning with his earplugs in - moron, just imagine the atmosphere that he was missing. Rant over, I'll...

    Bike stand

Just to answer Eddie's point. Hubby's bike is a hybrid mtb with 2" tyres. It fits into the stand with about 1/2" to spare and he has fitted the stand on our garage wall about a foot up from the ground so the bikes are stable in there - just park and leave basically. You'd need to ask any ebayer...

    Bike stand

Sorry not to get back until now, must have forgotten to tick the notification box! Yes, we do top and tail them. Hubby puts the bikes back to bed but he has no problems with the stand, the 3 bike version should work OK as well, just top and tail and top them!!:D

    Hello

Why 24" then when you already know what a 26" wheel is like? Does it feel too big for you?

Sorry, teaching you to suck eggs then!:)

    Hello

Juicy are in Manchester but they do have bikes at other retailers. Have you tried googling electric bike retailers north Wales?

    Hello

I should have mentioned by the way, you will be alright with a 26 inch wheel. I am 5'3" and my Juicy Classic fits me just fine. I did think I might need a smaller bike at first but when I test rode the Juicy I found the wheel size to be just fine. That's where a test ride will benefit you of...

    Hello

I was looking at the very same bike before i bought my Juicy bike. Woosh are well admired on this forum, I think it's fair to say, and I'm sure that Trex, who is associated with the company will soon be along to tell you more about them. The deal breaker for me was that with them being about...

    Bike stand

We use this type of thing: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Double-Bike-Safe-Stand-for-Ground-and-Wall-Mounting-Secure-Cycling-Ramp-/181980362468?hash=item2a5edff6e4:g:v40AAOSw5dNWiYOS They can attach to the wall or the floor and have worked well for us (we have attached them to the garage wall).

    Hello

Hi Clara, welcome. Don't know what style of bike you are looking for but if you like the step through bikes you might want to take a look at Juicy bikes. I have a Juicy Classic: https://www.juicybike.co.uk/electric-bikes/classic-click-dutch-style-electric-bicycle and love it. My Husband says I...
