    Leaving the EU

And that was a Scottish audience as well. They gave the SNP guy a real going over and seemed not to want a second Scottish independence referendum either.

    Leaving the EU

That's the problem with 28 countries trying to agree about something.... Or indeed, anything.

    Leaving the EU

I agree and I think that there is a way forward here which will give a satisfactory interim solution to the problem. The refugees must be as anxious as we are to stay amongst like cultured people and they must all want to have a chance to return to their homes one day. I very much doubt that...

    Leaving the EU

I note that the EU are now following Cameron's ideas of funding the refugees in camps nearer their homeland, so that they can live together in more humane conditions with education for the children, and so that they will be able to return to their country of origin as quickly and seamlessly as...

    Leaving the EU

Referring to Tillson's comments, I am actually also offended by what Hollande says. It especially sticks in the throat that the French should try to threaten us with scare tactics and I think it will have, on balance, the opposite effect of what Hollande is hoping to achieve. After all the...

    Hello from Sussex

Hope you enjoy looking for your new bikes, you will get plenty of help on here once you have sorted out roughly what you are after (or if you can't get your head around it, just ask for ideas anyway under 'which electric bike should I buy'.

    Bike for smaller people.

Fiona, don't dismiss that new Poco from Juicy Bikes. I know it's not arriving until later this month but it should be worth waiting for and I'm sure that Bob can help you with the throttle situation. I bought a slightly larger Juicy bike (the Classic here)...

    Leaving the EU

I have to admit that the fear of the unknown is very worrying and we aren't going to get any answers before June, simply because it will be all to play for in the form of negotiations after/if we leave. I honestly believe though that it's irrelevant what Switzerland of Norway have managed to...

    Bike for smaller people.

It's quite possible that Juicy's start assist throttles can be converted easily into a full throttle (at their own risk of course).

One of my pet hates that I can rant on about for ages - roundabouts with signals on them; I mean, honestly, what IS the point.............:)

    Helmets @ Aldi

Thinking about it, it was down to me (Spartacus). That was the first summer that I planted potatoes. 9 pounds of seed spuds went into the ground and 2 pounds of potatoes came out. I kid you not and my husband has never let me forget it ever since.

    GreenEdge cs2

Great that you are enjoying the bike. It's a great price for such a nice looking bike. My husband was tempted by it but got a Vita Uno instead. Have fun with it!

    Karoo or vita uno?

My husband has the Vita Uno. It climbs hills very well but he has complained that it is in gear 21 almost all the time and he doesn't have much use for the lower gears. He is in his 60's but fairly fit for his age. No problems with it yet and it is certainly a looker.
