Help needed with Juicy bike - Battery connection

Thanks for responding. Assuming that you are referring to the LED on the top of the battery, it is showing fully charged correctly. When the power cuts out it still shows fully charged and again when the controller briefly comes on, the LED is showing full charged. In summary, the lights on the...

Help needed with Juicy bike - Battery connection

Hi, I haven't been on here for awhile but my 5 year old Juicy Click has just let me down and I need help with it. The bike has been my saviour to be honest over the past 15 months as I have a kidney transplant and have been shielding with my Husband. So getting out on the bike has been a...

    Bike for a petite lady

Must add that I have been riding my lovely Juicy bike for a couple of years now, I am 5 foot 3 inches and I still absolutely adore the bike. It has been very reliable and gets up the local Lancashire hills very easily. I can't recommend it enough. Give Bob Wales a call, he is the UK owner of...

Case studies - how has your electric bike changed your life?

My hubby and me have had our electric bikes for 2 years or so now and i have previously posted on this thread about how it changed our lives, but now we are 2 years older/wiser/creakier it does no harm to reassess the issue if only to give fellow seniors out there some incentive to get an ebike...

Looking for step through bike for my wife?

Hi Ben I have been the proud owner of a Juicy Classic step through bike for about 2 years now - Bob is the lovely fella who owns Juicy bikes, he has sent you an email already. I use it roughly every couple of weeks for leisure riding and I live in hilly north Bolton, in the Lancashire...

That's a bit like people on Masterchef who, when asked if they can cook, reply that their family and friends always like their food!:p:D

Surely the Chinese build the bike but the English importer must specify the colour? Dave won't have just asked the Chinese manufacturer to build the bike and do it in any color they fancy. Juicys bikes are Chinese but Bob Wales is very specific about the colours be wants for his bikes and they...

How best to look after second hand battery - charging advice please

Yes, I have just been looking at that post generally and I don't have the faintest idea what people are complaining about. It was the same when I was working, I never understood the gossip and the scandalous rumours always got to me last! I actually don't mind spiders too much but I prefer bees...

How best to look after second hand battery - charging advice please

I DID wonder about the avatar Flecc. I thought maybe it was just the closest photo you could find that bore any resemblance to your good self!:p;)

I like the Verona and the Miami, predictably, but why such fat tyres on the Miami? That colour scheme on the Miami is nice as well.

    Looking for a bike!

Hi Mich, I have a Juicy Bike which is a step through. Juicy are in Derbyshire so must be near you and Bob who owns the place is extremely helpful. Artsu has already mentioned them on thread 7 and the link to the step through is here...

Will the GTECH become Britain's best selling e-bike?

And Hubby wouldn't be without his cordless drill or screwdriver, as you say, progress. One day we will probably be totally cordless.

Will the GTECH become Britain's best selling e-bike?

My only gripe is that whenever I mention that I have an electric bike the next thing said is invariably "Is it a GTech?". I then have to explain that GTech aren't the only guys in the market. I have a lot to thank the company for, I started with cordless hoovers on the GTech and it converted me...

Upgrades, modifications & changes you should have made sooner.

For me it has to be my handlebar mirrors. No more twisting my neck trying to see what's behind before I pull out to avoid that pot hole, just a quick glance in my mirror does it now.

    Hot UK Deals thread

I take a look at hot UK Deals every day (sad, I know) and today there is a thread about a Freego offer. It's worth looking at just to see some of the comments made by folk who don't know a lot about pedelecs! To be fair, there is some sense spoken on there as well...

    Off topic battery

Thanks for that as well. I HATE that USB connection with a vengeance! I can sometimes try the damn wire in 4 times each way and it still won't go in properly. I'm always afraid of breaking it and I probably will one day.

    Off topic battery

Thanks for this information. Lots of us have got these magic little machines and you get that you sort of depend on them. Use mine 2/3 hours a day so it's nice to know there are battery replacements out there.
