One law for the rich etc

Lynda The guys got a sick sense of humour. I have not. In fact I could not have dreamed up some of his disgusting comments. As for Chris Huhne, I hope he lands on his feet.

You are however comfortable hoping and suggesting that another human being should be raped. You can keep your comfortable feelings if that's what you are about. Oh and by the way, I have friend that was raped in her earlier years.

You really ought to get rid of your @rsehole obsession. It would make visiting this forum much more pleasant.

    What do you wear?

I solved the problem, just bought a washing machine and tumbler drier. Plumbed in, add a few wall hooks and all works well. Goes without saying, you generally need to work for your self or have a cycle orientated boss for this option to work.

How far do you want to go?

Never hurts to take a look at new products and options. Looks as if they are extremely well machined.

Why not stick the batteries in a small trailer. Surely more stable than loading up a rack?

    Tyre Wall Failure Imminent...

I'd say a nigh on a year out of a tyre is pretty good. I am not sure I have ever had a tyre last that long, treads are normally well worn by then. As for the tyre levers, some are brittle but many tyres do not even require levers. Just get the bead in the centre of the rim on the opposite...

How luck are we in the UK?

Why beat with a stick. They have two options, ban all e-bikes or work with manufacturers, organisations and the public and come up with an e-bike policy that works for the people. Of course the easist route is to ban all.

Totally agree with your thoughts. Incredible! they are worried about the dangers of the odd cycle. Get some perspective. A good percentage of their population are eating themselves to death.

Bosch Battery flew down the road

Have finally checked mine and as above, the latch does require the key to fit the battery. There is no way that this lock was ever intended to be used without the key. Of course mine did fly down the road but this was entirely operator error.

Flecc, thanks. Encouraging to think that my battery life will probably not have been reduced by this little accident.

50 Hertz, you really are a sick person, for which I suspect there is no cure! Time for me to move to another thread.

Bosch Battery flew down the road

Mine has always needed the key, will not click in without it. I'll take a good look at the locking mechanism tomorrow. Thanks Martin but had it smashed to bits, I'd have bought a new one from you. Are you still sure its ok?

    Kalkhoff Endeavour BS10 400Wh

Dave, I think that was with a single sensor outputting at 1 pulse per crank rotation. I suspect it is this scenario that the software is looking for and errors accordingly. Adding an second sensor in parallel would double the frequency and by my way of thinking should work. What do you think?

Bosch Battery flew down the road

A word of warning for all people with down tube Bosch mounted batteries. Aimed mainly at those as stupid as myself. Getting ready to leave work the other day, I grabbed the battery off my office charger. Hands full, just plopped it into its down tube holder. Locked up the offices, off...

You do not need to ask your wife. You must drink at a higher class pub that me. £1k, loads of people will take the points. Happens all the time. Of course the real solution is to drive, as you say below the speed limit 100% of the time. Trouble is, I'm human and not a robot puppet.

One law for the rich etc

Yes, that right. I would not think twice. There was a time that I had 9 points. I did not choose to swap points, it was time become office based, get out of the car and have a easy life. At the time, I was driving 90'000 mile per year. All points picked up on motorways over a 30 month...

I could not wish for a better, more genuine circle of friends. All 10 of them. Life is full of all sorts. Liars, cheats and muggers. Some even claim to be saints.
