It is "the nothing is going to slow me down" attitude, not even common sense. There should be a law against being a dick.

    'Hi' and KTM Macina review

Nice write up. Your B&B looks nice but I think I'd prefer to give my money to one in Germany!

    Butchers bike

The concepts great, not sure about the Edwardian bathtub on the front. All London cyclists should have one? That would prevent them squeezing through narrow gaps and risking injury.

    Cyclezee @ Network Rail

Flecc, very useful thanks. Seems if I wish to go mountain biking and get the train home at the end of the day I must be able to fold my bike and bag it. Not sure about the folding bit but I can bag it. They will never know its not folded.

    Datatag systems on KTM Bikes....

Are you talking about the standard label system or micro dots and in frame transponder, it the latter two then would certainly be worth it. Seem to me the standard frame label, sticker and UV, can be painted over with a quick respray. Lastly, how many stolen data tagged cycles were returned to...

    two wheel drive

I just thought it may be beneficial to drive both motors the same speed / current rather than rear at 5mph and then try to drive the front at 15mph. Is it not preferable to drive both motors the same? If nothing else but for a balanced life on each battery. Gears have nothing to do with the...

    two wheel drive

Do you have to ensure that each motor is being driven at precisely the same rpm or is a minor difference acceptable? I imagine that setting em up must be like the old twin carbs.

If that is a problem to any cyclist, then I'd say get an e-bike. Its worth noting that the crowded roads of cities are not race tracks. If you wish to keep up a fast pace without slowing then get out on an open road.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

You don't need a bike, you need a chairlift.

    Silly Cyclists

These videos do show what a bunch of muppets some cyclists can be. Not the best of publicity for our case. Those with head cams moaning about being cut up most of the time should go back to nursery and learn some hazard perception techniques and the art of anticipation. It is clear that on...

    Cyclezee @ Network Rail

Is that the same Network Rail that has allowed the disappearance of guard vans, thereby preventing many a cyclist from using the network? I and friend used to use the rail network for return trips most weekends, sadly we cannot anymore. Still, I guess the train companies get plenty of cash...

Why not make all cyclists take out compulsory insurance, nominal fee. Should a cyclist decide to play Russian roulette with a truck and get squashed to death, this insurance could be used to pay the driver for the massive amount of stress and nightmares he will suffer for the rest of his life...

    Datatag systems on KTM Bikes....

I agree, data tag won't stop you walking home. Stop it getting stolen in the first place. From my own experience, if your cycle does get stolen, the police could not give a t**s. It's just more paperwork to them. Won't even come out to discuss the crime or check out the area.

    Blind spot

s Flecc, I think you have missed my point. Post boxes etc would trigger the front sensor/s before the rear and not action a driver warning. Cyclist coming up the inside of a stationary vehicle would activate the rear sensor/s before the front. This would action a driver warning. So...

    Blind spot

Why not fit a couple of sensors on the side of the vehicle? If the rear sensor is triggered then another further forward, this would indicate something coming up the inside. At the end of the day, I agree that it is the cyclists responsibilty not to come up the inside of these trucks. The fact...

Why not move the mirrors forward? http://www.commercialmotor.com/Media/Default/BlogPost/big-lorry-blog/Bloggymag.jpg Couple the mirror up with a servo motor and the mirror could turn as the artic turns.

I has to be soft in order to keep the feel and grip of the tyre. Make it almost solid and you would have a dreadful ride.
