    Oxygen Scross MTB ongoing review

Cant believe Ive not updated this thread for so long! Well, today was the 2nd anniversary of me buying the Oxygen, definitely the best choice of e-bike I have ever made. And I made quite a few mistakes along the way before getting to this point. I have now clocked 7800 miles. The other bikes I...

    Oxygen Scross MTB ongoing review

Finally had a spare weekend, so took the bike out for a very rare pleasure ride! Took my drone with me, but was a little bit windy to fly, so turned into more of a reconaissance mission for a future ride. Went round some really nice areas where Ive not been before, and found some great flying...

Thanks egroover Hard to know what to update with these days as it runs so smoothly...dont want it to look like im only posting when there is a small problem, as it doesnt really reflect on the bike. Hopefully when this horrible winter is gone, Ill be doing a few more miles at the weekend going...

    Oxygen Scross MTB ongoing review

Ive had the Oxygen for around 20 months now, and very close to 7000 miles. Pretty amazing really when you compare it to others which I had before which struggled to get to 1000....thankfuly they seem like distant memories now. Dont regret buying the oxygen at all, and wish I had known about it...

Yep... Googled some images of the forks... That chamfer must be part of the old bearing assembly.. I'll take it all apart in the morning and see about getting it off. It really looked like part of the tube.... Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk

I only put on what was in the box... But saying that, the fork tube looked chamfered where it met the fork... Should that be square? Maybe the chamfer was the old race? Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk

Headset Bearings and Forks for Oxygen MTB

Fitted the new bearings today, not too difficult to do apart from balancing the bike on the stand to keep the front fork from bouncing completely out of the stem. All seems nice and smooth again now, although it looks a bit odd on the bottom bearing... I'm sure you can't put them in the wrong...

Keen cyclist looking for a shower-free commute

I can highly recommend the Oxygen SCross MTB...you should do 15 miles in an hour comfortably, without any sweat. Hers my ongoing review of the one Ive had since July2017, 5600 miles in now. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/oxygen-scross-mtb-ongoing-review.28142/

    Manchester Bike Hire under threat

Yes, I work in Manchester City centre at the moment ... The bikes are left lying on their sides all over the place, places where they've obviously been abandoned or attempted to be stolen. Real shame if it goes, as you see a lot of people using them. Have to say though, I'm not surprised as...

Oxygen vs Whoosh for 50miles a day commute

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/schwalbe-marathon-plus-smartguard-rigid-mtb-tyre/ These are the ones I have used highly puncture proof, not the cheapest but as you are doing the mileage, they will be worth it I just take my charger with me to work, but bought one of these to replace my broken...

Yeah, it does have the tendancy to move a little bit...not much at all, but enough to rattle about. Make sure the locknut is tight on the frame part...that can make a difference. To fully resolve it, i put some thin (2mm) felt sticky pads inside the frame to stop any movement. Not very techie...

Thanks both...never thought of that about replacing all spokes, didn’t see your message until now Tony... I popped up to oxygen today...what a nasty journey that is over the Pennines... Anyway, really helpful as always. Picked up a new rim for 17 quid, and 10 replacement spokes...hopefully...
