Applications for Team Oxygen, Whoosh etc to be filled in by May 20th.
let's see: the average age of my customers is around 65.

I can see the new Wisper Wolverine there though, next to the Pinarello Nytro and Cube Ageree.

seriously, what do you think of the revised Karoo 2018 that I have on order?

The battery is inside the downtube (36V 8AH), no LCD, just on/off switch, hydraulic brakes front and rear, 8-speed.

Looks good, very much a Cytronex competitor, that also having simple button control for power on/off but based on Cannondale road bike models with a smaller bottle battery.

No LCD is supposed to avoid the bike being vandalised in London. I am thinking of a version fitted a single speed belt drive like on the GTech.
The motor is ahem.. an Aikema.

That's a nice bike. Is there any way to regulate the power?

by the way you push on the pedal. It's a simplified torque sensor.

Hmmm! I think I've gone off it now. Can't you add a high and low power button, like the Gtech?

we can fit a normal LCD and throttle but think of it as an SRAM automatix but electronic.
The benefit is you take take out the trunking cable and it still works well. The next step is to make a belt drive version like the Gtech.

production Karoo 2018:

Does it look like an e-bike to you?
16kgs including pedals, rack and mudguards, torque sensor, 36V 8AH in-frame battery, Aikema motor, hydraulic brakes, 8-speed cassette, automatic gradient boost.
Price: £899. It will be assembled in Southend.

is a bigger capacity battery possible
you have to run the external battery wires to behind the LED/switch panel or to the bottom bracket where the controller is but yes, it's possible to parallel up or remove the in-frame battery and use an external battery. I reckon 8AH should be sufficient for people to ride around in London.
Th main thing is the 'Christmas tree' or Y1T4 Julet cable is gone.
