You can make adjustments to the battery connector which may help, and ity sounds like your gears need adjustment. It might also be worth creating a new thread of your own if you want to run a separate review of your experience :-)

You wont really need to change anything in the settings when you have the bike. Its all setup for you to work. Yes, the different power modes can be changed while riding. You hold the set button a couple of seconds until the lcd display flashes. Press set again until you see the power mode...

Its a piece of cake. The wheels are 27.5, but the onboard computer has to be set at 28 as thats the closest one.

This is the one I have, but i bought it for the original MTB which has a slightly narrower seatpost https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01BIQN9UC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So when I got the MTBII i had to buy some of these to make it fit better...

Help! Advice on converting a tricycle

Thanks everyone for the advice and help, much appreciated. Today my daughter became the proud owner of her first bike......courtesy of @Oxygen Electric Bikes They sold me a fantastic e-trike which after lots of measuring inside legs and bike components, fits just nicely, and will give her...

Help! Advice on converting a tricycle

I hadnt heard of that until you just mentioned it. I will have a look. She doesnt have any learning difficulties its just physically where she struggles. In some ways, she is quite lucky as she could have had a lot more problems than she has. Small mercies and all that.

Just a small update to the above. Speaking to Oxygen today, the problem with the battery came up in the discussion. I was more than happy to live with the reduction in mileage until we get through this, but I have been offered to send my battery in for inspection, and at the same time borrow a...

Help! Advice on converting a tricycle

Thanks all for the help and info, some things there for me to look into. Its something just to get more mobile, and do some things that her sister can do, while at the same time helping her strengthen her legs muscles over time. She could just go down the route of mobility scooters, but thats...

Help! Advice on converting a tricycle

Thats exactly the point. Without boring everyone to tears with the long story, she had a 9 hour operation a couple of years ago on her legs and hips to try and correct her posture/walking etc. She was living with her mum at the time. It went well, but due to problems with rehab she is now back...

Help! Advice on converting a tricycle

Oh well, just another example of the ridiculous laws in this country. A quick google says that there are two classes of mobility scooter. For a class 2 scooter, no age restrictions, but they only go up to 4mph. Kind of defeats the objective we are trying to achieve. Oh well, never mind. Cheers...

Really? I had no idea. I guess the same rule applies to her riding a mobility scooter as she is registered disabled?

Help! Advice on converting a tricycle

Hi all I have been looking at getting a trike for my 11 year old daughter. She has cerebral palsy, and doesn't have the strength in her legs to ride a normal bike, or the balance to ride two wheels. So, my idea is to get a sturdy tricycle to solve the balance problem. To get round the leg...

Review Oxygen SCross MTB MK II Ongoing Review

Hello all. I hope everyone is keeping safe in this very different world we are now living in. Thought I should pop back and say hi and give a small update on the Oxygen Well, for the last 4 weeks, I have been working from home, so commuting has gone. The bonus is, I have been going out most...

I dont think it did any harm. The battery may not have such a long life, but that bike did 8500 miles on the same battery, and i was still getting 20+ miles running it like that on a charge, so maybe not. Probably went through brake pads a bit quicker than normal because of the higher speeds...

Review Oxygen SCross MTB MK II Ongoing Review

Done around 300 miles on the bike now, not much to say really, as the bike has been exceptional, which I would have expected. One thing I have notice is the battery is a much tighter fit into the frame on the new bike, so less chance of it starting to rattle like the old one, although that was...

Yes, I ran it derestricted. Depends on your needs really. Most of my mileage was done for commuting, so for me the idea was to get to work as quickly as possible so derestricted was a no brainer. I also feel a lot safer travelling that bit faster when competing with cars. When on longer rides...

Well, the bike has no been sold. Strangely sad feelings when the bike was collected, the bike was a true workhorse for me. Gone to a nice guy on here though, who hopefully will have many more miles of smiles ahead :)
