On a completely separate note, a buddy of mine had a ride on my Woosh today and immediately went on ebay to start looking at whats out there and we came across this...

Review Woosh Rio MTB Review/Initial Impressions

I contacted the seller of the SKS set and they said they won't fit as the Woosh has no screwholes at the front hub. I had a good look round the bike and there are a set of holes at the back but none at the front. I'm tempted to buy them anyway and then bodge something. As Tony said, they are...

I'm thinking about something like these bad boys: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKS-Chromoplastic-Mudguard-Set-for-26-Wheels-Bicycle-Fenders-Black-/182778025650?var=&epid=1108141876&hash=item2a8e6b56b2:m:mvGXPP_uHFpC9J5MCkjjv8Q Would they fit do you think? 65mm is about 2.5 inches so I'm assuming...

Hi Team, I got saturated on the way home last night, it had stopped raining but on one particular stretch of road there is a big puddle which I have to ride through and always leaves me with a soaking wet ass! I have tried positioning the rear mudguard that came with the bike at different...

Review Woosh Rio MTB Review/Initial Impressions

Hi Woosh, I had a look at the battery case last night, I'm happy to report that both the little self tappers were tight and the lower M3 screw was also still nice and tight. The Upper M3 screw was nowhere to be found! It must have worked itself loose and fallen out somewhere. If you could...

Luckily the battery has never sparked yet not have i ever lost connection no matter how bumpy the roads get, I will take your advice though and go buy some grease. Is there any particular type or brand I should look for?

The bike has been rattling a bit recently but I put it down to the forks going up and down but this morning it was nosier than usual. When I got to work I had a good look and I noticed the battery case is now very loose. I won't get a chance to tighten everything up until I get home but I...

    Stop me buying a Woosh

I'd like to throw by 2 cents in. I've had my Rio for about 2 months now and it has been faultless. I even rode it home in a monsoon and it never missed a beat. I'm 5ft8 and about 13 and a half stone! Not fit but getting fitter! The pre-sales and after-sales service from Woosh has been...

Police say electric bikes illegal in Northern Ireland

..........and back to ebikes (cough, cough) If it interests the court, I ride my bike right past the local police station every single day. (In Derry) I also agree with the PSNI statement, technically still illegal but no-one has ever been prosecuted and its unlikely that anyone ever will...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I already have the majority of that kit on my Rio. The only upgrades from that I box I need are the controller and battery. Actually, I already have a 17amp Lishui controller, is that the same one? I'm hoping you are planning to package just those as a "Rio Upgrade...

You can get a Woosh 48V 17A SWX02 kit from the third week of October with 48V 12AH battery for £569. Not quite the same league as the 48V 22A but it packs quite a punch nevertheless. Optimized for 14st riders. What do you get in the kit? I'm guessing its a new battery and a new controller?

Review Woosh Rio MTB Review/Initial Impressions

A Woosh 17ah battery? That is interesting, obviously because of the form factor of the frame and battery I thought it might be difficult (impossible) to upgrade the battery. I wonder if they are also considering a 48v variation that will fit in the frame. Just out of curiosity, I was reading...

Hypothetically, when my warranty is up and I decide to try to eek more power out of my motor..... .......do I simply need a new controller that can handle more amps? I currently have a Lishui 17amp controller that comes standard with the Woosh Rio. Is there another controller that will go up...

Its difficult to say, my commute is very different from your, I only have to go 2 miles to work and 2 miles back. Level 5 all the time! :) I currently have only 67 miles up on the odometer. The two miles back however is all up (a fairly steep) hill. I charge my bike twice a week now...

Here is how wet it was in my hometown last night: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-41019610 And I have to say, I rode my Rio home through a flood which can only be described as biblical and it never missed a beat. I turned it on this morning again and all systems are operating...
