I'm glad I found this thread, I'm planning to build a Fat Bike and have been pricing the components for either a 1000W or 1500W hub kit. I'm quickly realising that the deciding factor is the battery! To keep the build neat I would really prefer a bottle battery over a rear rack mounted battery...
