Focus Jam ² - Nicest eMTB yet?

I can see good and bad in battery design. With internal battery, lighter better handling bike plus a waterbottle holder and tools. Stealth mode. With advantage of extra battery, which rider doesn't have carry, for long days. Eddie pointed out cons. The advantage of standard battery is it can...

    eMTB buying advice

Have you tried 7.0 model, they use newer Yamaha PWX motor which has had good reviews. I have Cube and find it great ride, excellent components. CX drive is brilliant, the remote is crap to easy to double click and go up/down 2 assist levels. Bosch small chainring is difficult to clean plus...

    Gearing and motor

I wouldn't get to hung up on shift sensing. Neither STEPS E6000 or Bosch has it on our bikes. You just need to ease of when shifting under load especially on higher assist settings, motors tend to run on and complete shift. 2.4 " off road tyres

Bike discount sell for $31euro, just ordered mine. Sounds like fitting could be interesting, maybe I should've added a few tyre level sets to the order.

Non-legal mountain e-bike with good torque and top speed that is under 1500 quid?

Legal EMTBs especially are having hard time being accepted on tracks because public and other riders think they will go at excessive speeds and tear up tracks. People riding overpowered illegal bikes at excessive speeds are half problem. The easiest way to police these people is to ban all...

News: German cycle industry takes a stronger stance against e-bike ‘tuning’

It is not that difficult to design a drive system that is tamper proof. The number modification people do is derestrict speed by fitting dongles. A GPS chip in controller can detect this, the other thing is making speed sensor smarter and integrating it with magnet into wheel/frame. Removing...

I've a 11-42t XT looking to fit a 11-46t cassette. Will it be a start forward replacement of cassette, or does derailleur need to be modified?.
