Upto 700wh internal battery, which its going need as no option to switch out from what presenter said. In saying that 700wh should give full days riding without having spend most of time eco, still going need take it easy on tubo mode. Having charge bike instead of removeable battery maybe...

https://www.performancelinebearings.com Can sell you replacement bearings and fit them if you want. Lost programming is new one on me, never see on forums. To happen 3 times on 3 different motors is bit strange. While these guys only deal in bearing replacements they maybe able to give you...

    eBike-specific, main battery-powered front light

A few things I found while resesrching likes for Bosch drive. Need cable with bosch connector that plugs into light port on left side of motor. €8 from Bike24. Two ports for front and rear so 2nd cable for taillight. Some front lights have wire coming off them for rear light, saving on 2nd...

    eBike-specific, main battery-powered front light

I've just ordered a 80lux B&M light will let you know how it goes in few weeks. Wifes bike has B&M 30lux. Good be seen light surprisingly effect in day time. OK light for short sections of unlit roads especially if you travelling around 15-20kmh. Not really for higher speeds on unlit roads...

Would you pay £500 more for the Raleigh Grand Tour over Halfords Crossfuse - both with activeline +

The Motus does have some higher spec components and extras which go some way to justify higher price but maybe not £500. Deore gears, the shifting quality of these is world apart from entry level ones on other bikes. Gearing shifting is something you will do a lot of in hilly terrain. Excellent...

Help in choosing E Bike. ( Mountain Bike )

The Cube Acid is good value and would do what you want. In saying that I would suggest test ride a few different bikes and drive systems. The hub drive Oxygen MTB comes highly recommended by few members. How comfortable bike (frame) feels to you is most important, quality of components is...

Feedback from owners of Active Line Plus bikes would be greatly appreciated.

With 38t chainring and 11-46t it should climb almost anything. This based on my experience with CX and same gearing using tour mode.

    Huge increase in UK e-bikes

OK spec for XC and occasional trail riding. Would want higher spec bike for regular trail riding.

Help in choosing E Bike. ( Mountain Bike )

FS bikes have lot more things to go wrong and service. Creaks from worn pivot points is common problem especially when not service. Not show stopper but very annoying. Unless you really need a FS bike I'd go with HT. If do need a FS then £3k is realistic starting point for one that will go the...

    Bosch Performance CX Sprocket

Why do you need higher gearing, 15t should be good for 40kmh in top, well above 25kmh assist cutoff.

    band brake

They is lot to be said for designing ebike or kit that uses power tool batteries. At least battery can be dual use.

Help in choosing E Bike. ( Mountain Bike )

A good hardtail with suspension seatpost like Suntour NCX would be fine for your riding.

    Raleigh Motus help please

Shifting down only works with planned stops not with unexpected emergency stops, there are always a few of them with inner city commutes.

Raleigh Motus Grand Tour Grey ST Derailleur 700c Electric Bike

Here is review on it. https://www.freewheelingfrance.com/books/raleigh-motus-grand-tour.html How did you like Plus compared to Activeline on hills?

Feedback from owners of Active Line Plus bikes would be greatly appreciated.

Had Shimano E6000 which is meant to have equivalent power. A 38t chainring with 11/34 cassette is good enough for 99% of sealed roads and we have some very steep hills. For touring or offroad exploring I'd go with 11/42 or 11/46t, the lower gearing also allows you to climb in tour mode to extend...

    Frustrating 15.5 limit

In NZ we don't have speed limit YET for ebikes, but I suspect its coming given increasing number ebikes. On road I don't see any issue, in lot cases its safer being able to stay with traffic and take middle of lane. Faster bike speed reduces speed difference between car coming up from behind...

    Raleigh Motus help please

For city commuting with lots of stop starts Nexus hub is ideal as you can change when stop. With derailluer you need to shift down while slowing down, not always possible with unexpected quick stops. Downside is removing rear tire for puncture repairs takes bit more time and few more tools...

    Kickstand

Its only 2weeks with new kickstand on my commuter. No living without it now, just so convenient especially when loading panniers. Next on shopping list is fixed wired head light. We have couple battery ones in house hold that move around a few bikes, but I can never find one in hurry.

Bosch Powerpack 500 - will it fit a Powerpack 300 mount?

Should do, I swap between 400wh and 500wh all time. NB when 400wh came out it was compatable with 300Wh.

    Raleigh Motus help please

Jayjay specifically mention steep hills. My wife has Gen2 and its nice motor but not as powerful as her previous 50nm Shimano Steps ebike. Lost few kmh on most climbs. Extra features and comfort of new bike more than makes up for slower climbing. The Raleigh Motus Tour Step Through Derailleur...
