    Throwing Things

I'm quite lucky in that living in a rural area and often leaving the house at 6.45 in the morning there is seldom anyone else around ! On the way home at 6.15pm it is now dark and within a mile i'm back out on country roads. I'm not sure I would want to live in an inner city area (no offence...

Where can I get a battery for Giant Lafree

I'm sure by Spring/Summer next year there will be new models on the horizon. We've had several new bikes this year. Who knows what next year will bring !

It might also be useful if you decide on a career in deep-sea diving :D How much does the lock weigh?

Forum colour scheme - opinion needed! (big file attached)

Hi Pete, a very valid point and something I hadn't even considered. I'll take a look at it and see what other palatable combinations I can come up with! cheers Russ.

How much does it cost to recharge a battery ?

How to add an extra battery to your system.

I would go for the switch option. At least you'll know that only one battery is powering the bike at any moment. Plus when you are out on the road you'll know when it is time to swap over to a different battery and this will help you guage your remaining range to ensure you get home on power !

Gaynor mentioned she'd bought a roboraptile. Maybe a roborapcycle? :p

    Help with spoke problem

I would pluck up the courage to have a go Aron! I removed the front and back wheels a few times in the comfort of the garden (even better with a bbq and beer :D - well in the summer anyway!) This was to ensure should I get caught out on the road in the dark I will know what to do if I need to...

    Help with spoke problem

I was quite lucky in that I (almost) saw what was coming and managed to come to a halt just as my front wheel bounced off the car's front. I was turning right at a mini-roundabout and a boy-racer just flew across with total disregard for me. I could see he wasn't going to stop but I didn't spot...

    Quick Polls

Some of you may have noticed that I have added a poll section to the bottom right of the forum and also under the navigation menu on the main site. Some articles will also contain them. While we have a poll facility in the forum, the idea behind these polls is to gather opinion from people who...

    Help with spoke problem

Hi Aron, I was hit side-on by a car a few months back and unfortunately suffered a buckled wheel. I basically cut away at the sheathing for the motor connectors on the side of the front fork, disconnected all the wires (making note of the connections!) and took it into a cycle shop. The...

    Decent Lights

The HID lights are generally designed for off-road use. In fact in Germany, where the Lupine is produced, it is illegal to use the Edison on the road. I find if you angle the light carefully it generally doesn't bother other road users. If someone does flash me, I just angle it forward a little...
