Two boys die in "ebike" accident: Cardiff riot broke out after 'police prevented parents seeing fatal crash victims', close relative says

I remember it well, I was working in London 2005 when De Menedez was murdered. Guess who the Met's Gold Commander was on that operation, none other than Cressida Dick...she has blood on her hands

Two boys die in "ebike" accident: Cardiff riot broke out after 'police prevented parents seeing fatal crash victims', close relative says

A FOI request should yield that footage, isn't that the law? However yes they will try every trick in the book to try and stop it being released for reasons you say, it may come to light at some point though. Similarly the bus will have had a camera, not heard much about the driver though, hope...

Two boys die in "ebike" accident: Cardiff riot broke out after 'police prevented parents seeing fatal crash victims', close relative says

There is so much vitriol against the cops as an institution as they have been proven again and again nationwide over decades to be institutionally racist and more recently institutionally corrupt. They also like to rape and murder, you read the news, right, just look at the state of the Met...

Two boys die in "ebike" accident: Cardiff riot broke out after 'police prevented parents seeing fatal crash victims', close relative says

Policy differs around the UK but my understanding is that cops are mostly told not to chase motorised bikes if driver(s) are not wearing helmets as 'life' in a civil society is supposed to trump a charge sheet. Yes we don't fully know what they were up to before the cops trailed them but most...

Two boys die in "ebike" accident: Cardiff riot broke out after 'police prevented parents seeing fatal crash victims', close relative says

Yes, there is clear door bell cam footage on BBC showing the cops following behind the two boys at speed shortly before the crash. Yet again moron cops have tried to lie as they know they're not allowed to follow in that manner...and then their moron bosses spew the lies in the the public...

Protecting battery from road shock and vibration

When I started researching parts then built my ebike (donor/1500W kit) I took it to local bike guy who did redid the rear hub drive train after a rear spin out. I asked him about the weight of the battery in drink holder with only two screws and he was non-fussed so either didn't think it was...

Protecting battery from road shock and vibration

My ebike has a 14S6P 52V 17.5Ah Hailong 4.5kg battery mounted using two screws for water bottle holder already available from the donor frame. The plastic/Al connector attaches fine to bike and with battery mounted you find it naturally has a little sideways flex. Personally I have never had...

    New ebike with ABS

I don't mind the look of the bike in fact I quite like it! I wonder how serviceable it will be though. And SW setting don't get around the law.

E-scooters to banned at Gloucestershire railway stations and trains

They would have to ask permission to search or call the cops, neither are likely scenarios when you're hopping on to a train unless you're under the guards nose.

E-scooters to banned at Gloucestershire railway stations and trains

Most escooters fold down and will fit in a £10 carry case from amazon, problem solved?

    Stolen ebike recovery service

You can save a lot of the £200 if you buy and fit your own tracker, they only have 4 locations to do it for you all they're all down sarf? £8.99 is worth a punt however I'm sceptical that they will have any agents in Glasgow.

need bike mechanic for fitting ebike kit ( liverpool )

You might be better off selling that aluminium frame as you say and looking for a steel one as they are stronger. My ebike is 20+ yr old Halfords Apollo conversion, get on FB market/gumtree or for less hassle just buy a cheapo Halfords steel frame? In the UK the kit you're looking at is illegal...

    De-restricted eBike won't go over 18mph

Probably not a lot you can do safely, you'd need a more powerful hub motor (1000-1500W), controller (17-20A continuous, 35-40A peak) and a higher voltage battery (48-52V) and safe charger. Also a new controller. You can't really mix and match these safely, if you really need the extra few mph...

    Train E-bike ban

Ah, OK, that's a special train for the West Highland Way, great idea, wish they would look closer to home though with number of bike spaces on the major commute routes they run (Glasgow-Edinburgh for example)
