    Bar End Tape!!!

what it did for sweaty hands on slipy grips might also work for gloves. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Badminton-Rackets-Anti-slip-Elastic-Towel/dp/B0050S6I94 They can be tight to fit but I found it easier to roll them up and unroll them over the barend/grip.

why are non cyclists not interested?

I have arthritis & my new pedelec is a revelation, I can & do ride a "normal bike" as well, but not so far & with more knee pain. I also get the hump when told I'm cheating. So much so, the last person who made a comment had me snap back do you take the **** out of wheelchair users as well...

    curiouser and curiouser ! Triva

I've been cycling around Northampton for years but only recently noticed while crisscrossing the M1, each bridge I use (main road or country lane) there's a small pice of orange tape tied to the railings. So far it's been on 4 out of 5 bridges I've crossed & on the 5th bridge it was attached to...

    Good value for money?

And your 5K was a pedelec, I was down Phil Corley cycles a few years back (8) I'd popped in for a few bits whilst riding my nearly new XJR1300, Phil was outside bouncing up & down on his own newly built DH bike. We were chatting away about this & that and I asked how much his was, he said he'd...

    Spare magnet?

Rather than over tightening and damaging the spoke I put a dab of thread lock on mine, a small amount of arialdite rapid would also do the job ;)

Ezee Quando1...6 years old but un-ridden and kept dry last 5 and a quarter..good condition

I recently sold my 2008 kalkhoff Agattu less than 800 dry miles and the battery had a good 80% life left in it. I started off offering it at what I thought was a good price, only to find months later, no one wanted it, in the end it went for £300. At least that was money towards my new cube...

Cube reaction hybrid pro29, first impressions

OK folks 300 miles now and I'm addict. A little sunshine add a quite country lane & I'm happy. No faults or problems to speak of ( I had a click but that came & went in no time ) You can use a lot of assist and get where you need without breaking a sweat but the fun starts when you put some...

Yes the clue was in the thread title, by far the longest I've seen. I read two lines and then skipped down to the picture. Good luck with the sale;) PS shot & sweet is best

    2014 Bosch drive unit click

You know about my arthritis then ;) No not so much a click, more of a gravely crunch, my knees that is not the bike. I stuck my knobblys on this afternoon and went out looking for mud. A good workout for the bike & my knees, the bikes still silent

    2014 Bosch drive unit click

I hadn't been on my bike since Sunday, so this afternoon I thought I'd ride over to the cycle shop with my clicko_O A combination of much wind & traffic noise meant for the first mile the click wasn't audible. Surprise surprise once I was riding on traffic free country lanes still no click, it's...

    2014 Bosch drive unit click

Thanks for the reply flecc, I've had a look at the link with associated video & PDF. They appear to refer an earlier Bosch model to mine, is the fault the same on the newer models ?

    2014 Bosch drive unit click

OK a question for those that are familiar with the mechanics of the Bosch motor, it might be trivial but. I'm only 250 miles from new and today I've developed a click or tick sound, it's independent of the motor ( on or off it's still there) It's on the down stroke of the left peddle and only...

Cane Creek Thudbuster Seatpost ST for £59.99

That would be nice ! I don't know of a local stockist, let-alone one who would lend one out just to satisfy my curiosity. Not that I'm curious, I'm happy with my suntour and can't think how it could be improved on, if for any reason it needed replacing I'd buy another one just the same.

Cane Creek Thudbuster Seatpost ST for £59.99

Never tried a TB I was always put off by the price ! I read mixed comparison reviews between the crane creak & the suntour nex seat post. The ST seamed to have the edge for performance and being better priced (£40) was the cherry on top. Anywho, Since buying a suntour nex suspension seat post...

    Bosch battery cover

OK I get the idea, how about some motor protection for the new bosch drive bikes. All the detritus coming off the front wheel goes straight on to the motor ! Just how tough is it, Im reluctant to bump over logs & large branches while riding woodland trails just in case

    It's a long ride...

Well back in the 80's, on a motorcycle (XS650) I was zig-zagging my way from Northampton up to John o' Groats At 3 different campsites in them there Scotland's, I met two brothers riding a tandem. Going from Manchester to John o groats, they reckoned on averaging 200 miles a day, as I met them...
