Halfords after warranty service is not that good really according to some comments. 500Wh you mean? If there is no pedal assist then either something is wrong, or battery is empty. What is your budget and what do you look for?

Woosh starts shipping Tongsheng TSDZ8 with 250W label

Gap is around 1cm, but it is not only gap that has improved. Also the way how bracket is attached to motor. I can run all cables I need between motor and BB. To install TSDZ2B I had to open the case, slide motor into BB and then close case. TSDZ8 I can just slide in. Big improvement.

    TSDZ2B Bits and Pieces

I guess it depends on frame. I just took out TSDZ8 I bought from you and it looks like I will have to dremel frame as well. If I won't remove this bit I will have motor hanging under BB like TSDZ2B. Luckily TSDZ8 offers more space between motor and BB, so at least cable management will be...

    TSDZ2B Bits and Pieces

As promised: To insert motor I had to remove this bit of a frame. More on the side to let cables out. I also had to open motor case. Yes it looks flimsy. I am not happy with cable management, so if you want me to install bracket, I might use this opportunity and let power cables into...

    TSDZ2B Bits and Pieces

You didn't find solution. You are just aware of a potential problem. Unfortunately even when you buy a new bike and there is plenty of information available and plenty of photos it is unlikely you will find pictures of a frame shape around bottom bracket. My solution was - buy a bike, unpack...

His assistant knew how it was going to end. Already had crutches prepared.

    TSDZ2B Bits and Pieces

Hi Peter My main consideration would be space for battery. Especially if you plan to buy full suspension bike. Smallest Hailong battery is "Pro" I think - 93mm/368mm/90mm. Hydraulic brakes are a must IMO, but donor bike can have mechanical as change to hydraulics is very easy as long as frame...

    TSDZ2B Bits and Pieces

OK, I will take photos. Bike is great and it will stay (Cannondale Adventure EQ https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Cannondale-Adventure-EQ-2023-Hybrid-Classic-Bike_244627.htm ). Only question is how to convert it. Worst case scenario I might need to install rear hub, but I think TSDZ2B should do just...

    TSDZ2B Bits and Pieces

That is another very good point. It looks like I will have to remove motor after all and start from scratch... On another hand I am tempted to take a risk, leave things as they are and move on to what is really interesting - my MTB and TSDZ8. Yesterday I took new bike and my kids for a short...

Hmmm... that is a good point.... Do you know what was motor rated power?

    Mobile tool kit

Don't overthink it. It is just a multitool. Buy one and get on a bike. PS I like multitool I bought at Lidl. It was only few £

DFT consultation on increase of 250W limit to 500W

Except DfT is as confused as Mark Sutton. " The government proposes (...) to amend the legal definition of EAPCs, so that the maximum continuous power output of the electric motor is 500 watts instead of 250 watts "...

    Mobile tool kit

They look OK. Depends what you expect. I have many multitools I gathered over years and they are always a compromise. They just good enough to patch up things and get home. Good enough is all what you need really.

    TSDZ2B Bits and Pieces

It is working! It is working! Oh, I really like the feel... but I miss throttle. Luckily bike is for my wife, not for me. Now the hard part - cable management. Should have really started with that and prepared some intube cables to solder after motor installation. It is to late now to make it...

    TSDZ2B Bits and Pieces

Why? The only reason to install it IMO is to prevent motor rotation, ergo I don't need it in my case. Is there something I don't see?
