    Short cranks !

No LOL. On Highpath crank rotation circle is much smaller. On yours rotation circle is the same (as it would be on cranks without modification), but circle is lower. You would have similar effect if you would lower bottom bracket by an inch or two.

    Short cranks !

These are different. I would say Highpath Swing Cranks are better for people with bad knees.

    Short cranks !

You don't have problems with crank length while cornering?

E-bike loan scheme across the Stroud district

All e-bikes I tried were ideal for hills. Maybe try kit from Woosh.

    What battery? (to replace swytch)

I must say it is one of most peculiar ideas I have seen. Why not ordinary bike?

    What battery? (to replace swytch)

That is very surprising to hear about BMX used as commuter. Simply because they are not designed for that purpose. I am looking forward to see pictures of your bike.

    What battery? (to replace swytch)

I would like to see some pictures too. I don't quite understand what is the point of installing electric kit on BMX bike.

    625w battery upgrade

That doesn't make any sense. You might like to open a new thread. This one is about battery, not a lock. Also how would we know where you live to recommend bike mechanic?

Can’t find S-pedelec insurance anywhere, please help

It is really strange. Looks like petrol lobby trying to sabotage electric transport.

    Battery Fires

Yes. It looks like your bike might catch fire when left in the rain. ;) On a serious note you might like to take some time and waterproof your bike. Sounds like Eleglide didn't make that effort.

Speeding cyclist who crashed into pensioner, 81, while racing at 29mph in a 20mph zone avoids prosecution after she dies - because speed limits don't

If the 20mph speed limit (mentioned in first post) was imposed by local authority then this guy would be prosecuted?

Speeding cyclist who crashed into pensioner, 81, while racing at 29mph in a 20mph zone avoids prosecution after she dies - because speed limits don't

On contrary. Move to the right and all will be good. Stay on the left and head on to collision and there will be chaos all over the place. Two idiots wining on the ground, bent wheels, bolts and other pieces. ...common sense.

Next time just go on the right side for a moment. That is what I do. Much easier than building a new prison.

Almost down and out, but now back on two wheels.

Not true. It is just a tool which one needs to learn how to use. Having that said I agree power control is better. I think torque sensor would be much better for OP.

Coolest looking ebike ever - Reevo

Solid rubber wheels. Must be fun to ride on UK roads full of potholes. Makes me wonder why owner is selling it after riding only 2.3 miles DIY ;)

Almost down and out, but now back on two wheels.

I never had that problem with my Yose 250W kit. My motor starts assisting slowly and gradually when I start pedaling. There is no abrupt power surge at all. You probably should be able to change setting somewhere in controller more to your liking. Welcome.
