    yesterday i had 1 ebike now i have 4!

Orange Bike Rides again!! I pulled the rear mudguard and rear rack off an old junker and bodged them onto the bike, this allowed me to mount the battery on the rear rack as an alternative to on the top of the crossbar. The brakes were a doddle to sort out, they take the same pads as the yellow...

    Help! Replacement LY48v1000w controller choice

my understanding of the testers @Electrik Skok is using requires the tester to replace the motor in order to test the controller, so battery issues unless the battery is completely fried are unlikely to be revealed as the tester box can hardly draw a significant load? If it needs replacing the...

    New battery recommendations

An rough n ready ah check is to simply measure the voltage of the battery when low and determine what % of 'charge' is in the battery for example .. if a 20ah battery at 50% capacity charged with a 4a charger should take 2 1/2 hours to charge.. If it takes significantly less I would doubt the...

silica crystal cat litter is about a fiver for 5l, pretty much the same stuff as found in the little silica dehydration pouches, and can also be revitalised in the oven (best not to try this after used for cat litter tho.. )
